If I could give zero stars I would. The worst customer service ever. They have about 4 different ways of contacting them but you get the same bad service no matter which channel of communication you use. It seems even the response on Hello Peter.com from DSTV is automated as it is exactly the same on each complaint. The DSTV app on my smart tv is the worst. It keep on freezing after a few minutes ant then you have to exit the app ant re-open it to wacth for a few minutes before it does the same thing. No resolve from DSTV after many attempts. Netflix and Showmax works fine on the same tv so it is not my internet connection or tv that is the problem. No wonder DSTV is losing customers like crazy. May they die quickly so that we can watch sport on a different service soon.
This is the worst advertising website ever. Firstly there are no dates with the ads to determine how long ago the ad was placed. Secondly when you click on the ad for more detail, there is no way to contact the seller. No email address, no cell number, nothing?? What is the point of searching for anything on their site if you cannot contact the seller. Think this site was developed by the South African Government.
I was a member of Iemas for more than 36 years and bought a number of vehicles through them and used my purchase card every month for general goods purchased. Service was always good and in a few cases even outstanding due to specific persons that went out of their way to assist. This was however all soured by 2 incidents lately where I experienced really poor poor customer service. I struggled for more than a year to get Imas to correct a monthly premium that they deducted from my salary for an Old Mutual policy. Old Mutual even made my policy paid up due to Imas not being able to correct the issue. Then I retired, ended my Imas membership and tried to get my accumulated bonus fund balance to be paid out. Boy oh boy it would be easier to get an apointment with the queen of England. I spoke to various people at Imas, sent many emails and submitted the same forms about 4 times. After resigning in August 2021 I eventually got my money paid in July 2022. No final statement, no email to explain or say thank you for 36 years support. Just a payment in my bank account. There is something very wrong at Imas Finance. My recommendation is dont do business with them. There are many other companies that actually will appreciate your business. Whish I could get hold of the email address of the CEO as I would love to send this to him personally.
Bad customer service experience. I worked for a company for 36 years and my pension fund was administered by Sanlam. In the yearly presentations by Sanlam they said the SLA for paying out pension when you retire is 2 to 3 weeks after the last contribution was received. I took retirement on 30 June 2021 and struggled for more than 2 months to get any meaningful response from Sanlam as to when my pension will be paid out. From other reviews on Hello Peter I see Sanlam have a 75% rating of 1 star. Maybe it is time for the Sanlam management to wake up and take the negative comments to heart and start doing something about their customer service. Oh and please don't give me a standard response of "your complaint has been escalated to the relevant department". I have heard that many times over the last two months and nothing came of it. I will never deal with Sanlam again and will also not advise anybody to do business with them.
