Just had the most disgusting experience with Pets Travel SA, rude and aggressive! One of my new kitten owners organized the 'travel agency' to take the 12 week old kitten from CT to Knysna. He was not treated carefully and gently. Just like another piece of cargo. I expressed concern on collection, then again on the whatsup group. A voice message arrived insulting me and telling me that I was naive! Then a call from the owner with a tirade of abuse, screaming at me as she did not appreciate my point of view, couldn't get a word in. Then to boot she threatened to drop the baby off in Somerset West and I could go and collect it. It is clear that this 'travel agency' doesn't see 'pets' as precious! This is a courier/cargo service. Please people - do not use them, this is shocking to say the least. Just hope he arrives at his destination without being overly traumatized. Since posting this on all our Facebook Breeders group pages, it was amazing how many people called me, or messaged and posted about similar experiences with them. The vehicle was absolutely solidly packed with crates from top to bottom. He was put right on the top (and not carefully or gently. No strapping in, not treated like the precious cargo he is, my heart dropped. If the driver had to slam on brakes or swerve, his travel box would've gone flying. Please make sure you are getting a proper service, not a courier company. These are our children, family members - not just 'pets"!

Make VERY sure to avoid this family owned and run business. John Gould believes they are the best aircon company in Cape Town. Pompous, sarcastic and a personal attack on me because of their lack of delivery and breach of a verbal contract to fix an aircon on a car was that booked into their workshop for 2 days. As a client I could not believe the attitude and bad behaviour, especially the young son. The owner John Gould was not able to keep business as business, and felt it necessary to attack me on a personal level. He decided that he was 'God' and would stand in judgement of a person he knows nothing about. He told me I had an ugly heart not once but three times and also that I was an unhappy, miserable and nasty woman. This because I was unhappy with their service, non-communication and lack of delivery. Then, when he had reduced me to tears, he continued to insult me. As a business owner it is difficult for me to comprehend this behavior or attitude from the owner of a company. My own clients can sometimes be difficult. Never, ever have i attacked them on a personal level. I am shocked!
Managed to get hold of Derek Grant today after calling consistently for hours - he has promised to do the gate on Wednesday 14th October. The reason he was not able to take calls is because he has been on the top of a mountain out of mobile signal for 8 weeks!
Over 12 weeks ago ADG Security quoted to repair a sliding gate and fit the gate motor. Derek Grant (owner) did the site visit and quote. We have heard absolutely nothing from him at all. He will not take calls from either myself or my daughter. There has been no explanation or communication except for demanding the deposit and then just disappearing off the face of the earth. I managed to contact his wife who promised he would call back this morning - still nothing. After a few calls from me, he switched his phone off! Beware of this company
On booking, my credit card details were requested ,card number including the 3 digits on the back to secure. Two options of paying, via credit card or EFT. I chose EFT supplied copy of POP on arrival. An extremely detailed form had to be filled in with all my personal details. A copy of my ID-AND- a photocopy of my credit card front and back was required! They insisted that I sign a blank swiped credit card voucher for safe keeping in case of damages. I have recently suffered Credit Card fraud. The procedure did not sit well with me, I didn't argue as we didn't have time. I felt very uneasy due to this incident. Prior to check out, I requested the return of the documents. The Manager at the front desk assured me that it would be no problem, he would tear it up in front of me. On booking out I requested that the room was checked and that they return the documents to me. The manager left me standing in reception for about 20mins whilst he searched for the signed credit card slip and the photocopy thereof. To no avail.Reasons varied for the necessity of the documents - also conflicting reasons. I left with an extremely bad gut feeling and cancelled the card to protect myself
