Please be carefull what animal travel aggency you use we used Pets travel Coleen as agent and was disapointed she delayed flights whole time put increased the prices the whole time wanted us to pay for mistakes she made amended documents and threathend th
Please be carefull what animal travel aggency you use we used Pets travel Coleen as agent and was disapointed she delayed flights whole time put increased the prices the whole time wanted us to pay for mistakes she made amended documents and threathend that our dogs couldn't fly because of age and weight.She provided false information of temperature.She broked our trust and therefore we hired another travel agency and our dogs arrived safely without any problems with their age and health.She puted us and our dogs thru alot of emotional and financial stress.

Please be carefull what animal travel aggency you use we used Pets travel Coleen as agent and was disapointed she delayed flights whole time put increased the prices the whole time wanted us to pay for mistakes she made amended documents and threathend that our dogs couldn't fly because of age and weight.She provided false information of temperature.She broked our trust and therefore we hired another travel agency and our dogs arrived safely without any problems with their age and health.She puted us and our dogs thru alot of emotional and financial stress.

No communication at all. Missed application dates
We signed up with pets travel to get our animals relocated to New Zealand as we have emigrated. All paperwork and tests were done according to what the company told us was required for our animals to travel. We were also warned that the applications had to be submitted before 22 November as that was the date the NZ authorities would stop processing 2023 applications. Everything was finalised and all documents dropped off by the 25th of October. The agent dealing with our case, Duncan has consistently and continuously ignored emails and phone calls requesting updates as to the progress of our pets applications. His first response after a week of trying to get hold of him and 3 emails later was that someone else in the company had left and he was given all their cases. This would not have been a problem had he communicated this. He then proceeded to ghost us for another month. We emailed three more times to find out if the applications were processed before cut off and even reached out to another agent to request she take our case as we were having no joy with Duncan. Her lacklustre response was that she was sure Duncan would respond soon. When Duncan did eventually reply he said he had been off sick. But we were never informed of this and nobody else had done anything to ensure the applications were being done. We have now been informed that the application due date was missed and that they only open again in February meaning our animals will only likely arrive here in march. If we’re lucky. Shocking service and absolutely no communication.

Excellent pet transporter
I used Pet Travel to move my pets from Cape Town to Joburg, what an amazing experience, the whole trip they updated me with photos of them as well as their location. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent pet transporter
I used Pet Travel to move my pets from Cape Town to Joburg, what an amazing experience, the whole trip they updated me with photos of them as well as their location. I would recommend them to anyone.

Just had the most disgusting experience with Pets Travel SA, rude and aggressive! One of my new kitten owners organized the 'travel agency' to take the 12 week old kitten from CT to Knysna. He was not treated carefully and gently. Just like another piece of cargo. I expressed concern on collection, then again on the whatsup group. A voice message arrived insulting me and telling me that I was naive! Then a call from the owner with a tirade of abuse, screaming at me as she did not appreciate my point of view, couldn't get a word in. Then to boot she threatened to drop the baby off in Somerset West and I could go and collect it. It is clear that this 'travel agency' doesn't see 'pets' as precious! This is a courier/cargo service. Please people - do not use them, this is shocking to say the least. Just hope he arrives at his destination without being overly traumatized. Since posting this on all our Facebook Breeders group pages, it was amazing how many people called me, or messaged and posted about similar experiences with them. The vehicle was absolutely solidly packed with crates from top to bottom. He was put right on the top (and not carefully or gently. No strapping in, not treated like the precious cargo he is, my heart dropped. If the driver had to slam on brakes or swerve, his travel box would've gone flying. Please make sure you are getting a proper service, not a courier company. These are our children, family members - not just 'pets"!

Would like to thank pets travel for the amazing service with transporting my animals from Guateng to West cape. Melani whom kept me up to date via the Whole trip “Thank You” ( specially for the videos and the attention each baby of mine got during the trip) aswel as Rulan Kennels keeping them safe and well looked after. Service was fast and great. And my heart was at ease to know my babies are safe all the way. Thank you !!!! To every one whom was part of this team to make my move possible and a great success !!

Would like to thank pets travel for the amazing service with transporting my animals from Guateng to West cape.
