I have had a very bad experience this past week with this store. I ordered a product about 2 weeks ago, and it was couriered with Fastway. Due to my delivery address not copied correctly by the sender (It was entered correctly on my invoice) my delivery bounced between Johannesburg and the Pretoria Depot, and was eventually delivered to the wrong person. I informed the store on the Friday, Monday and Wednesday via Messages and per email about the situation, as well as numerous messages and phone calls to Fastway to no avail. The store also doesn’t have a landline or cell phone number to contact. Today I finally received a response from the customer care person, who clearly just skimmed through my email and apologised for the late reply. Only to inform me that my package was delivered on the mentioned Friday. Yes it was delivered, but to the WRONG person! As per my initial complaint and request for assistance! Between the store customer care and Fastway this has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had the displeasure to deal with. Please improve your customer support.
Horrible service. Not willing to assist. Delivered my package to the wrong person. Did not receive it. Horrible customer service that’s also not willing to assist. The Pretoria Depot’s phone doesn’t work properly and disconnects and they don’t reply to emails, nor do they follow up on complaints.
As per their refund policy, I sent them an email to request a refund. I sent them the an email with the requested information as stipulated on their website, and even allowed 24 to 48 hours for a response as requested by their website. Still no reply, I even sent a follow up email. Still nothing.
I would like to lodge an complaint against a Sanlam Executer and a Deceased Estate Specialist who are being biased. I had to appoint a lawyer to get information out of them. When he contacted the Executer of the estate she didn’t know what was happening to the estate and referred him to the Deceased Estate Specialist, whom in turn is either on leave or just not available. She requested 10 business days to respond to the concerns and questions we raised and to this day she still hasn’t. I have requested check-ins at the private property from the estate as their have been numerous reports of break-ins and was told that I should travel to that town and lodge a complaint with the police and send them the case number. I’m very unsatisfied with the service I’ve received from Sanlam and they are making my grieving period even worse and more stressful.
