Account Paid in Full Months Ago – Still Not Closed, Interest Ongoing

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received from Daly. My loan account was fully settled in October 2025, yet to this day it remains open. Even worse, interest continues to accumulate on an account that should have been closed months ago. This is completely unacceptable and reflects serious negligence. What is most concerning is the complete lack of accountability. Daly was highly proactive when it came to collecting payment, but once the account was settled, all communication stopped. I received no confirmation, no closure, and no follow-up from their side. I have had to repeatedly chase them for answers — sending emails and making calls that were never returned, despite being told someone would call me back. The only responses I have received are vague statements such as “we have followed up with our client,” with no timelines, no ownership, and no resolution. As a direct result of their failure to act: • Interest is being charged incorrectly on a settled account • I am unable to close my cheque account • I am incurring ongoing bank charges • My credit profile is at risk This has now been ongoing for months, with no meaningful progress. It is extremely concerning that a law firm handling financial matters operates with this level of inefficiency and disregard for their responsibilities. Once they have your money, there appears to be no urgency to complete the process. I expect immediate action to close this account, reverse all incorrect charges, and rectify any impact on my credit record. I would strongly caution others before dealing with Daly based on this experience.

Magnificent service!
