Purchased a bedroom suite few years back from Cielo in Ballito Junction. Recently one of the legs got damaged so I went to visit the store in Ballito. The Store Manager Alisha Naidoo immediately asked me if she can assist me in anyway. I told her about the bed leg, and she gave me her card and said she'll arrange a new set for me. The next day I got a call from Cielo to say they'll will supply me with new bed legs (all I was required is to pay courier fees as this bed was no longer under warranty) Next, I got a call to advise that the courier delivering my goods was hijacked. They immediately sprang into action to order me a new set. This arrived soon after and I was appreciative of their assistance. Soon after another parcel arrived with a note to apologise for the delay in delivery etc. which definitely not their own doing. They gifted me with some chopping boards for which I was extremely impressed and grateful.
Received an adverti*****t via email yesterday from Flight Centre for a local cruise called "Pomene Perfection". The ad states cruise to Pomene from Durban in a Balcony Cabin. Save R3500. Cost of cruise is R4620 per person. Immediately phoned the number on the Ad. Spoke to Lorraine who advised that all the Balcony Cabins are fully booked but she can give me an inside cabin for R9242 for two people. As this cruise is from the 5th December I requested her to email me the details so can check with my wife if she can get leave. This is mostly because it is our 15th Anniversary on the 8th December and this would be a perfect setting. I never received anything from Lorraine by late afternoon, so I decided to go into a Flight Centre branch in La Lucia Mall KZN. I was advised there by a lady that there are Balcony cabins available for this cruise, but the price is now around R20 000. She also stated that I would not enjoy this cruise as it is going to have mostly Matrics on board. Got the feeling I was really not being encouraged with any other options; I left. Definitely not the same Flight Centre I got to know before COVID. Also, two different responses makes me wonder what the actual truth is.
Before purchasing a Karcher, think first. Also read all the reviews on HelloPeter. Bought our Karcher Floor Cleaner FC 5 *EU on the 24th June 2020, from Makro Cornubia, for R3999 on special. It now retails at Makro for R4 299.99. It’s been used several times and stopped working. Took it to Makro who advised this product only has 1 year guarantee and that I must take it myself to Karcher in Pinetown. Received a quote 5 days later from Karcher that it will cost R2 973.90 to repair. Asked how long does the repair warranty last and was told only three months. So after three months should this machine pack up I’ve effectively spent R7000 on a machine that I can no longer use.
Ordered some silicone moulds from Eeze Silicone Solutions. Paid through payfast thinking all was legit an amount of R812.60. My credit card was immediately debited with that amount. This company is definitely not a Silicone solution ; they are just one big CON. The goods never arrived to date and one cannot get hold of anyone there. They're are literally stealing people's money and getting away with it.
Overall experience was good. Ordered two items and specified the colour white. Order received with one item been pink and the other white.
