Nedbank no show
I visited the branch in Preller Bloemfontein on 20 April 2026 and to date received NO outcome or feedback. Nedbank is supposed to closed a bank account and transfer the funds to the estate bank account. How difficult can it be?

No Service FNB
FNB does not even bother to respond to my previous review ***NF dated 18 March 2024. At the time of the review I was already waiting 7 months for a response. How can we help your?? Yeah right. After 8 months FNB does not seem to want to help me

Poor Service Absa
I requested Absa to close the bank accounts for a deceased estate. I received the CoB but then nothing was done to close the accounts, transfer the funds and issue the bank statements as per my request

Poor service delivery

Pathetic service
I requested bank statements for a deceased estate in November 2022. The bank account was closed and the funds transferred but after numerous requests still no bank statements

Death claim not paid out
Group Life Insurance is not paid out despite numerous requests and suggestions. PJ Loots passed away in May 2021 and a group life claim of only R34k is not paid to the surviving spouse as the deceased did not have a beneficiary. However, no Letter of Executorship is issued as the deceased had no other assets but Sanlam insist on a Letter of Executorship which is not going to happen. Sanlam wants to pay into estate bank account but even if a Letter is issued by the Master, the assets are less than R250000 and thus no bank account for the estate will be opened and in the meantime the spouse cannot access the little bit of funds she desperately needs

Deceased bank closure
I submitted the request and supporting documents on 22 July 2021 to close the bank account and transfer the funds. It was before the data bridge of the Master. No responses or funds to date for ML Vorster

Deceased account not closed
It's been 6 months since we received confirmation that the deceased signed for surety, but nothing happened and it is still active and not lifted. As a result the deceased bank account has not been closed. We are also waiting for the certificate of balance to be issued.
