Emirates airline has completely failed the passengers stuck in Dubai Airport. Not only did they depart Johannesburg after the big storms had already flooded Dubai Airport but there are no lounges, no hotels and 8 hour queues for passengers to speak to any staff regarding connections or support. Some passengers are stranded for 2 days with flights being delayed 1 hour at a time. The WiFi is overwhelmed and unable to support what’s app calls or entertainment. Online check in has been suspended so passengers have to wait in endless lines to check in in person. The sheer greed of the airline has landed the passengers in this position. Flights should never have left Johannesburg knowing the situation in Dubai. The local office is ineffectual and unable to assist passengers in any way at all - not even to issue vouchers. Where are the ground staff to support passengers. A complete failure of management in every regard.
I purchases 2 expensive identical gym tops from Lisa Raleigh - sadly after wearing one (and washing it) I realised it had been incorrectly sized (I did not spot this at 6am before my gym class) the store policy is not to accept used returns (even though they acknowledge that the product was faulty). My encounter with the store and management left me feeling like a dim witted ******** who could not understand their policy and was trying to pull a fast one on them. No possibility of an exchange - astounding that a business would risk its reputation on 1 faulty shirt. Fortunately consumers have choices. Appalling customer service and clearly poor quality control
ChemDry Sandton ruined 2 expensive oriental carpets. The colour was stripped, the colours ran and the knots were loosened and left pulls all over the carpets. There was zero customer service, management refused to acknowledge the carpets were not returned in good condition. They took no responsibility at all for the problem. I would not use this company as they compounded the issue of damaging the carpets with their lack of care and customer service.
Do not use this business. I paid for a Washing machine repair in May. My machine had not been repaired or returned despite trying to contact Mind Tshbangu weekly. It is outright theft.
