I frequently purchase food from the Pedro's in Stanger. There service is always inconsistent. My orders have regularly been mixed up or processed incorrectly by the kitchen staff. The front line cashiers are ever so helpful including their manager Cindy. The incompetence of the kitchen impacts the front line servicing of clients. They cannot cope with the volume of orders that have to cater for. The franchise needs to equip their staff on how to handle the orders that they cater for. I don't know if it is a case of complacency due to the brand building popularity amongst the community or if the staff don't give a damn about customer's.
I called the customer care center enquiry about a vehicle I saw online at their Durban branch. I was informed that the vehicle was still available and the sales lead would be forwarded to a salesman. I was given the salesman's contact details and was advised that I could contact him to via whatsapp. I proceeded to contact the salesman via whatsapp. The consultant wanted to know if I was at the Durban branch. I mentioned that I wasn't. However, I wanted to enquire about the vehicle which I was interested in. He didn't respond to me. I decided to call him a few hours later as I thought he could have been busy. He answered my call and wanted me to visit the dealership in order to initiate the process. I advised him that I would like to the finance privately due personal reasons. The salesman advised me that I cannot do the finance privately. I have to do it via them as they are wholesale dealership. He said that they do not do offers to purchase. He further advised that it will take 3 to 4 weeks for me to take delivery of the vehicle as this was the disadvantage of private finance. This is the first time that I've heard of such a process as I have done private finance in the past without any hassle. The salesman then handed me over to his colleague to explain the reasoning for financing at their offices. As a customer, I have my own right as to how I go about the financing of a vehicle. I shouldn't be restricted because of their internal issues which they are faced with in respect of the Natis documents. They seriously need to reassess their policies to keep customers happy and staff should be trained on how to handle customers.
I visited the Just Cars and viewed a vehicle that I really liked and was within my budget. I contacted the dealership to enquire further regarding the particular vehicle. I was assisted by Nicholas who was ever so helpful in clarifying the service history and the condition of the vehicle. He had sent pictures of the vehicle and service book to satisfy my enquiry. I was only available to view the vehicle over the weekend so I decided to go on a Saturday morning. Upon inspection of the vehicle, I noticed that some of the body panels needed repairs as the damage was quite disappointing. These damages were omitted the pictures which I had received. I informed Nicholas that I have been deceived via their adverti*****t and his pictures. I requested for the vehicle to be repaired should I consider purchasing it. I also requested a test drive for the vehicle. However, Nicholas said that he requires approval from his boss. The boss was at the showroom and refused to allow a test drive. He said that they don't do test drives on Saturday's. This is absolutely ludacris. I also mentioned to the owner that I'm not prepared to purchase the vehicle as it is over-priced, considering the faults. I made a lower offer. Surprisingly, the owner accepted offer and considered repairing the faults of the vehicle. However, I was still not allowed a test drive. I've purchased several vehicles and I was allowed to do test drives. Nicholas was helpful from the beginning. However, the owner has no regard for customer service and people skills. As per previous reviews, something is very dodgy with their deals. They are not honorable. Please do not purchase from this dealership.
