I purchased a vehicle from the dealership in Umhlanga. The battery was not working and asked them to replace it. In 6 months the replacement battery died as well. Just cars was ****** and didn’t want to assist with the warranty. Discovered that they fitted an old and defective battery. I would recommend that buy from them.

I purchased a vehicle from the dealership in Umhlanga. The battery was not working and asked them to replace it. In 6 months the replacement battery died as well. Big thanks to Calvin for his professional advice and service on my new purchase! My 4th vehicle from Just Cars, they're always on the ball. A big thank you to ****ra in the finance department for her work. Don't brother about these other small used car dealers, Just Cars will beat them all!

I enquired about a car and was told by Calvin Sacks that the car is being used by the owners wife and will be available next week(All on email), I queried the mileage and price ie if it would be re advertised and the price reduced as more mileage has been added and the car was advertised with 109000kms. I advised that using a car that has been advertised for sale is wrong. Calvins response, Dont understand your question or comment and that the he will let me know when the car is available.I explained what I meant as he failed to understand my email. I ended off saying I will not be be interested in the car and using this dealership and his response was shocking, ie The mileage is 109000 kms so doesn’t need to adjusted. The price definitely wont be lowered as its well below what other are retailing for. I understand that this is most likely the first time you are you purchasing a vehicle so you don’t know much about the process so we will excuse your ignorance. Good luck with your search and good luck to the dealership dealing with you. This guy is ignorant and arrogant and his assumption of me that his never met or know of, is disgusting and is the reason,I will rather spend my money elsewhere.

I purchased the vehicle on the 22nd of October 2021, on that same day while going home I realized the right hand wiper wasn't working properly, since then I gone back three times to get the wiper issue sorted. As for the last three times when it rained it (wiper) just jumped out of where it should be intact. The car key card within days of the purchase of the vehicle the car display wrote key card battery low, I proceeded to go to the dealership to ask for them to fix this. I gave it to them whilst I used the other whilst waiting for the key that was going to be fixed the spare key started writing the same as well. Which left me baffled and confused. I have taken both keys twice for this issue to be fixed but it still continues writing the same. The airbag light has gone on for both the drivers side and as well as the passenger side meaning that should I had encountered an accident once these issues were ongoing I could have not been protected by the airbags. After less than a month after taking the vehicle the breaks had to be changed as they were at 25%.I was promised by this company that the vehicle had undergone a thorough road worthy test before the company hands over the vehicle to the new buyer they also take it to undergo a final road worthy test but all these major issues show that none of the above was done. The vehicle than on three separate occasions after the brakes were changed wouldnt start and would just write on the screen "traction control" and wouldnt start. Now finally on the 1st of January 2022, as I was trying to leave as I was parked in a way where I had to reverse when I was leaving, I tried to put in the reverse gear. It made a horrible screeching sound. The reverse gear doesn't engage and the vehicle stopped running. I don't want this car anymore. Tom, my salesman doesn't want to cancel this deal. Calvin, who runs the Umhlanga branch, is very dishonest and deceitful. After I posted a Google review noting my experience of him lying about a void warranty and selling a car I had reserved, he wrote a response containing another 3 lies, then called me and screamed obscenities at me while threatening legal action. His father apologised to my wife and reversed the sale but that doesn't change what Calvin is. Avoid dealing with him at all costs.

I visited the Just Cars and viewed a vehicle that I really liked and was within my budget. I contacted the dealership to enquire further regarding the particular vehicle. I was assisted by Nicholas who was ever so helpful in clarifying the service history and the condition of the vehicle. He had sent pictures of the vehicle and service book to satisfy my enquiry. I was only available to view the vehicle over the weekend so I decided to go on a Saturday morning. Upon inspection of the vehicle, I noticed that some of the body panels needed repairs as the damage was quite disappointing. These damages were omitted the pictures which I had received. I informed Nicholas that I have been deceived via their adverti*****t and his pictures. I requested for the vehicle to be repaired should I consider purchasing it. I also requested a test drive for the vehicle. However, Nicholas said that he requires approval from his boss. The boss was at the showroom and refused to allow a test drive. He said that they don't do test drives on Saturday's. This is absolutely ludacris. I also mentioned to the owner that I'm not prepared to purchase the vehicle as it is over-priced, considering the faults. I made a lower offer. Surprisingly, the owner accepted offer and considered repairing the faults of the vehicle. However, I was still not allowed a test drive. I've purchased several vehicles and I was allowed to do test drives. Nicholas was helpful from the beginning. However, the owner has no regard for customer service and people skills. As per previous reviews, something is very dodgy with their deals. They are not honorable. Please do not purchase from this dealership.
