Placed my order, after waiting for about a week without feedback or a tracking number I sent them a mail to enquire. Received a whatsapp saying there's a problem the pair of earrings I really would have liked to buy is now out of stock. Disappointing but OK let's move on. I chose to not take another pair in it's place as I wanted that pair. I got my package, one of the three headbands ordered not packed. I whatsapp again. Asked me to please check my package as it shows packed on their side. It's. Not. There. I've been offered a refund for the earrings and headband (still waiting) but actually, I would have just liked the items I ordered.
Terrible service. Please note that they are AGENTS for Loka and not Loka official. Customer service is non existent and I honestly believe this agent is damaging a wonderful clothing brand. They will courier to the wrong address after making you wait weeks for your order, courier the incorrect order and then ghost you when you ask for a refund. Getting a reply out of them regarding your purchase is nearly impossible. I had to literally beg for a reply each time I communicated with this woman. And then she would still only reply if she felt like it. Never experienced service this bad before and I buy online at least once a week. She honestly doesn’t care, as soon as she’s got your money it’s over. I really hope Loka reconsiders this agent distributing their beautiful and unique clothing. I often buy from Loka online (not Loka Jeans!!) and Loka George. Service there has always been excellent.
My mom ordered Jo Malone perfume online for me as a giving birth gift, just something special before I have a baby in a couple of days. It arrived today, wrapped in a piece of tissue paper only, in a Woolworths box. Having bought many Jo Malone products before I know this is not the norm, they normally have beautiful packaging that comes standard. No perfume box, the bottle is on its own, bottle very dirty, scratched and chipped. To make matters worse the perfume had been used based on the strong smell coming from the bottle. With a new perfume that had not been used the smell would not have come across as this strong. It literally looks like they took the tester that had been through many trials and tribulations, didn’t even bother to box it up, and shipped it. They expect me to pay R1000 for this. Upon contacting the call centre (R50 in airtime later) I got a generic apology saying they will arrange for the courier company to collect so they can send me a proper boxed up perfume. I’m giving birth in a couple of days and just was looking forward to something to feel special for the occasion. With them now attempting collecting this rubbish delivery and afterwards dispatching a new bottle it will definitely not be here in time for my hospital stay. Not expected from Woolworths at all. Extremely disappointed, especially that they literally just mailed me a generic “apologies for the inconvenience” after me sending them numerous pictures of what I received. They honestly don’t seem to care at all. For me it’s so much more than that. I was really looking forward to the gift that was supposed to have special meaning and memories associated with it.
