Utterly disgusted with customer service/ complaints and mismatching finances between creditors and Debt Rescue I got into a car accident about a month ago and my car insurance paid out and finalized my outstanding car finance. I have asked for settlement letters from my creditor MTN and the letters I have received was an amount WAY HIGHER than what was showing on my Debt rescue portal. I have contacted Debt rescue since 1 April 2024 to get this matter resolved so that I can settle my account and get my clearance certificate (I have went as far to suspend my debit order). I have been the one that has reached out and got empty promises of getting feedback, should I get a response it will be "we are still working on your MTN balance however we are still waiting on feedback from MTN" More concerning would be that my creditors show way larger amount outstanding than my debt rescue portal does, where is my money going to? WHY are my creditor not kept up to date with how much is outstanding on my account? The customer "care" or lack of service has been lacking. No support from this company to expedite this procedure. I would not recommend debt rescue to anybody I cared about because this has been the worst experience I've had with customer service in my life. Please don't make the mistake I did with using this company. Especially in regards to your finances. Use another company rather. Utterly disappointed. More admin for me and less action from Debt Rescue. That. Is. All.
The fact that neither MTN nor Debt Rescue are helping me aggravates me greatly. Everyone seems to become silent when you want to give them money, in my opinion. All I want is to pay MTN and move on. Since April 1st, I have sent multiple emails, and to date, I have only received a well-meaning response “that I will receive a reply within 24 hours” from Debt Rescue and MTN. This is ridiculous, as Debt Rescue claimed to have contacted MTN. This is a horrible service, and from what I understand, debt rescue is meant to help me.

Never in my life have I ever seen this bad customer service. Paid my bills 27.09.2021. My phone got switched of 30.09.2021. Had a chat with three consultants on 06.10.2021 & 07.10.2021 & 09.10.2021 which I can call by name and the the time. Still no luck. After changing the details to cash they still deduct money of my account 18.10.2021. Laid a complaint on Twitter 13.10.2021 & still no luck. Laid a complaint again on 19.10.2021 told me it will be sorted in 24H - 24H has passed and still nothing from MTN. This is ridicules. If i could i will give them a 0 rating. Canceling my contract as soon as I can. I will never ever recommend MTN to anyone.
