How can I get cubic/qubix? To stop phoning me on behalf of Dstv to insure or upgrade my decoder. I’ve opted out of all Dstv marketing on their app yet I still get at least 5 calls a week from these people. I keep blocking the number and a new one comes up. I don’t need another decoder and if mine breaks I’ll just switch to stream . Leave me alone otherwise I am going to cancel Dstv entirely. I only keep it for the sport and don’t even watch any other content on there.
I had an error on my TM6 where the arm would not seal the lid properly. I dropped the unit at their office on the 9 March I am still waiting and today is the 9th April. Their after sales service is atrocious. They have not even rep**** to my message for an update sent on the 2nd April. The helpline phone number just rings and does not get answered They are waiting for a part to arrive from overseas apparently. If the unit is defective, replace it with a new one and fix that one as a demo unit for your shop, or actually just refund my money if you can’t repair it timeously. I think the previous manual TM5 was actually simpler and had less issues- I used that one for years with no problems until they convinced me to upgrade for a heck of a price. I upgraded my contract to a RED VIP 100GB. I had an existing 250mins Voice and a 30GB data topup monthly bundles in addition to my previous contract tied to my number. At the time of the upgrade Vodacom said those 2 bundles would fall away when I upgraded. That was the ONLY reason I went for the 100GB unlimited package, otherwise I would have chosen a much smaller package. I'm now trying to make amendments to the existing new 100GB/unlimited contract. As a RED VIP customer I was promised exceptional service/dedicated support channels etc... um no that does not exist. Been on hold for over 20 mins trying to get to talk to an agent, and finally get through, but they are not even in the correct department to assist me... So I give her my info and ask her to downgrade me. Migration fee of R1121 applies sir... Ok, I say, is this once off, yes it is. What is my new monthly total I ask? R1799 for the RED VIP 15GB I ask, but I can get a new 15GB RED VIP package for R1199 currently, why is there a R600 difference, it makes no sense especially if I pay the penalty migration fee? Cant answer that question - it is the system And to top it off, while I am on the call, the agent tells me another call is coming in, can she take it? I mean after being on hold for 20mins, that is just truly infuriating. Vodacom - this is absolutely pathetic . I have been a customer for more than 20 years. If I could have rated you with minus stars I would have. Will be the last upgrade or contract I ever take with you once this one runs its course.
