Hyundai Edwin Swales. Poor & Unsatisfactory customer service once my service was done on the 15/01/25. after service was done on my vehicle , they did not clear the service warning light and they did not adjust the hand brakes properly so every time I park off on an incline the car rolls backwards even though my breaks are in good order. I had called in last week to advise the service booking clerk Odette and Sherlene that I will be sending my brother to come in with the vehicle this Saturday 08/02/25 to have the matter sorted out as I work far away at Durban north and he works nearby the dealership and he will be there before 08.00am . Please assist him as he arrives there as he also needs to be at work. They have advised that it wont be a problem to sort out and it wont take more than 05 minutes. When he arrives there this morning. The service center is opened and some vehicles are in the parking and there is nobody in the office to assist him. he had to leave and get back to work . I mentioned to him that I will contact the dealership that he was there and there were nobody around to assist him. I spoke to a person from the service center . he advised his name is Jan, as I couldn't clearly hear what he was saying. he was very rude and unprofessional over the telephone. I explained to him that prior to this I called him to book the vehicle early to sort the matter out when my brother arrives. his response was we only open at 08.00 am. Then i said to him that's besides the point , if so then my brother would have left the car there if someone assisted, and once sorted they could have dropped the vehicle off down the road at his workplace. I said to him now my brother has to leave work at 09.00am during his lunch break to bring the vehicle back to the service center. Unfortunately , Never again will I bring my vehicle to the service center . I will go back to Hyundai Umhlanga even though they are extremely busy but of good service and customer satisfaction.

Very inefficient and pathetic service from this company, no written quotes or estimations was given upon sending the vehicle for diagnosis. The owner does not provide good service and does not return any calls and messages, they are rip offs and my vehicle is parked there over a year yet I did not sign or agree upon storage from day one, the owner understood my financial situation and initially advised he won't charge storage, now all of a sudden he wants to charge storage yet he only diagnosed the fault and did not do any repairs, he denied all allegations when questioned by RMI. His business needs to be thoroughly investigated and action must be taken against him, the Ombudsman turned against the rmi recommendation which was one side by the Ombudsman, this workshop did not comply within the cpa act. I want the owner exposed for his wrong doings.
Gearpro on 1183 umgeni road, Stamford hill Durban, Bad service, they don't provide quotes and estimations, when clients request. They cost us too high and a rip off. They don't take any calls or answer any messages on time. They can't source parts to my hyundai santa fe. They strip other parts of vehicle without clients consent, they don't comply with the cpa act. My vehicle is still on storage, yet nothing was signed and agreed upon storage since I left my vehicle there from day one. It's been over a year now they have my vehicle and illegally holding my vehicle, yet I don't want them to repair my vehicle, they are too costly, only for Labour.. I would never recommend anyone else to this workshop. Pathetic service. There are so many clients vehicles parked there and not yet fixed. They even gave my gearbox without my consent to another company to try an establish the faults. I only signed a job card the day I left the vehicle there, to diagnose and strip vehicle and fault find. Yet they want to charge me an enormous amount to assemble back parts, yet I paid them R2000 upfront. I don't even know if my vehicle is still at their premises in one piece. Yet I'm still paying my insurance on the vehicle,
