********. These guys should be closed down. They misrepresent themselves as a local (South African) Company and once the sale is complete, even if you attempt to cancel the transaction they ignore the instruction to cancel the sale. Once you are in the loop, they just ignore your instructions and you end up with the item in any case. My tip is to refuse the tax payment, they eventually deliver the item in any case so at least there is a small cost to them. Mooi&Co is in contravention of Article 29 (b) (i) of the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 by misrepresenting their goods as local.
I've been looking at replacing my CPAP machine for a while. After identifying the specific machine I wanted, I was surprised that every single supplier in my immediate area wanted to sell something else to me, all with the same phrase: "This is our best seller". I'm was not looking for the best seller, I was looking for an effective medical device. Redmark was able to answer my questions on their WhatsApp within minutes. I ordered after looking for reviews (and of which there were few), and the next day my CPAP arrived! Exactly what I wanted, and with no issues.
Specifically: Woolworths Online Shopping I ordered a gift for a family member from the online platform, with the website indicating delivery the next day. First problem, the item was not delivered the next day to me, the item, or something else, was delivered to another customer. The delivery to me was then attempted, but this time a used old LTE router was delivered to me. I am still waiting for them to pick the incorrect item up. WOS apparently wants me to fix their second mistake before they will even consider delivering the item I ordered. This is the timeline: Ordered and paid on 15 Feb 2023, first incorrect deliver to wrong address 16 February, On the 17th February I started to engage WOS. 22 February WOS indicated the matter was forwarded to the warehouse to be investigated. Lots of excuses waiting for warehouse since then. Today is the 28th of February, I am still waiting.
Good prices, excellent service. This is the first time I see someone mark all the bolts on my motorcycle to easily identify a loose bolt. Normally you are lucky if the installer uses a torque wrench! But Fernando and his team carefully torques every bolt and then marks them. I felt a LOT safer riding out of there than I did anywhere else.
I would like to write a review about Oneplan Insurance. Specifically Kelly Van der Haar on the Chat Platform. It took almost a bit of time to lodge a claim, but Kelly sorted me out within minutes. I rate her service a 6 out of 5 stars.
Talladega Auto Clinic unfortunately seems to have taken a turn to the worst. I've serviced my vehicle there several times and have been happy with the service, probably on a scale of 5, until the beginning of 2022. I took my car in for (1) a service and (2) a repair on the A/C which they gladly diagnosed for me and for which I was very grateful. At the time, the A/C provider was not open yet and the car was returned to me without the A/C being repaired, understandably. However upon getting the vehicle back the car had a new issue (the A/C blower would not switch on) and upon taking it back I was told the blower failed. I questioned this as the blower is an electric motor and cannot fail while the car is being serviced, as it should not be getting power. I was told I don't understand "electronics" so I took my keys and left. Upon diagnosing the car myself I found the blower (quoted as a R4000 part) working perfectly and tracked the issue down to a blower resistor (R1200 from agents and I repaired the failed electronic component for less than R100 myself). I'm rather unhappy that the service centre did not diagnose my issue correctly, and would not listen to reason.
