I would have given ZERO if i had the option. I would reccomend not trying to buy a vehicle from them as I had a very bad experience. I went and had a look at a 2012 White Mercedes SLK 200 on Friday. I could not drive the vehicle because the vehicle was being serviced and had to go through the test. I indicated that I am very interrested to buy the car cash. Ruddy never e-mailed be the service history or information as he promised. I phoned the select sales manager and he just said sorry, the salesman fight amongst each other to close sales/ deals. This is very unprofessional indeed. Ruddy (salesman). I contacted him on Monday and he said that they are still busy with the service. Tuesday I just get a Whatsapp. "Sorry car is sold." Al he had to do is call me as I indicated that I want the car before selling it. Surely it is just good practice to find out before selling the vehicle. Do they not write on a board that they have a potential buyer so that the other salesman know about it. BAD communication between salesman and very *********.
Great service. Competitive premiums. I have been with them more than 30 years.
Awesome service. I have been with Outsurance for more than 30 years. They are a GREAT insurance company, and I can really recommend them. Thank you Outsurance.
This is the best short term company. I have been with them for more than 22 years. Premiums are very competitive and claims are dealt with speedy and profesional.
Do not buy from them... They advertise a vehicle and then it is a total different vehicle than what they advertised on auction. I wish I could have given SMD a ZERO I sent mails to Jason and Ruan on 15/12/2021. They did not even have the deasonsancy to reply on my mail. See my mail below and decide for yourself if this is unreasonable! Good day Jason, I purchased the attached vehicle. Paid R7500 to get the vehicle to Pretoria only to find that SMD’s vehicle description has an unreasonable error. I do understand the terms and condition states that you do not take responsibility for an error in description, but this error must be reasonable. SMD advertised the vehicle as: Jeep Renegade 1.4 Tjet LTD AWD A/T After paying another R650 to take it to a Mechanic I found that it is a 2.4 Trailhawk. It has no turbo. You should have realised that it is not a 1.4 Turbo but a 2.4 normal aspirated. Can I return the vehicle and be refunded the expenses and purchase price? According to my attorney, (legally) an error must be reasonable, and this is clearly not reasonable. SMD is experienced vehicle sellers, and it is unreasonable for SMD to make this error in a description. (Will you sell a Merc C180 as a C350?) This is my first vehicle that I bought from SMD to assist me with COVID losses. I now have a vehicle that I cannot repair and sell as I already purchased parts for a 1.4 and these parts are incorrect for the vehicle I purchased. The value and demand between what I received and purchased differ drastically. Please consider this request favourable. I was planning to buy a lot of vehicles, but this situation leaves me with large debt and in a position that I will not be able to buy any other vehicles in the future. Please do not put me in a position that I loose everything due to a unreasonable error by SMD.
