Please do not make use of the services of this company. They will frustrate you and your clients with the completely ineffective and inefficient way in which they process claims. I have had the deal with them twice now for City of Johannesburg claims and was frustrated for months on end on both occasions. My latest claim dates back to April 2024. It is now August 2024 and my approved claim has still not been settled.
Be very careful or better yet, add this company to your cell phone block list. Their agent on more than one occasion during his call with me indicated that their R199 decoder deal includes my current DSTV subscription for 24 months i.e. I would pay R199 per month for 24 months for the decoder and my DSTV subscription and my DSTV subscription would then revert to the normal price at the end of the 24 months. After reviewing their website I saw that this was definitely not the case and that R199 only includes the decoder. After realising that I was mislead, the same evening I sent a mail demanding that the deal be cancelled. I received a call from the company the next morning indicating that the deal will be cancelled based on the reasons I provided in my e-mail, and that I would receive an e-mail confirming this before the end of the day. I am still waiting for this e-mail and for said confirmation. As a result now have to monitor my bank account constantly to make sure that no unauthorised deductions are not being made from my bank account.
Be sure to add this company to the blocked list on your phone and do not enter into any deals with them. Their agents will make misrepresentations akin to *****, claiming that their decoder deal includes your DSTV subscription for 24 months, which according to their website is definitely not the case. I was ****med by their agent in this way today and will be heading to the police tomorrow to lay a charge of ***** against the company and their agent should they not cancel my order with immediate effect.
I did an immediate internet transfer for a substantial amount from my ABSA account to a Standard Bank account early on Friday morning. The funds were supposed to have been available in the Standard Bank account within the hour. It is now 4 days later and the funds are out of my account but still not reflecting in the Standard Bank account.

All that the call centre and Palesa Muhalami at the Cresta branch can tell me is that there is a technical error that ABSA is working on. This has been the story since Friday when I first phoned to find out what the problem is.

Long story short, I am now more than likely going to have the transaction I am engaged in cancelled, which is ultimately going to result in me being R5000 out of pocket.

ABSA does not seem too concerned or too much in a hurry to get this issue sorted out and can also not tell me anything about what will happen to the fees levied for immediate Internet transfers.

Absolutely shocked at the service I have received from on of our largest commercial banks and a bank that I have been with for many years now. Perhaps time to take my business elsewhere.

I had a 4mbps Telkom ADSL lined installed about 5 months ago and have had to log 3 faults on the line already, of which 1 fault ended up being \escalated"... for what that's worth. Needles to say I won't be spending my time complaining on hellopeter if any of the faults I have logged addressed the INTERMITTENT problem on my line. My line is tested by the call centre and the technicians that are sent out and I am told that no errors are found on the line"
