DO NOT USE THEM!!! This business is pathetic!! They operate with one vehicle, if there is a breakdown, nothing will be done for weeks. No notifications or apologies, but end of the month will still debit your account in full. No answering of calls, emails.
MTN`s customer service the poorest by far. My 2 year contract with MTN expired on 8Oct2020. I send MTN an email on 5July 2020 to confirm my contract end date and only receive their confirmation on 7Sep2020. MTN then deducted R583 from my account on 1Nov2020. I queried this deduction where MTN responded on 5Nov2020 that they DO NOT cancel the debit order until they receive a cancellation letter from me. I the send the cancellation letter on 9Nov2020. MTN then deducted the full amount from my account on 1Dec2020 again. I queried this deduction with MTN on 9Dec2020 and received an email from MTN on 30Dec2020 that the contract was now cancelled. MTN then still deducted the amount of R583 again from my account which i requested my bank to reverse. MTN send me an email on the 4Feb2021 that confirmed the invoice for January was an error from their side. Now 1 year later i received a mail from their attorney that i owe them the amount of R760.96? 1. Why was i not notified by MTN on my initial query the 5July2020 to send them a cancellation letter? 2. Why must i pay for a service that i was not using?
