This place is a ****!!! They DO NOT exist, they are posing as an online store and have set up a **** cheap wix account. All the positive reviews on hellopeter are **** and were created by the ****mers to keep up the pretense. They are suspected to be affiliated with another **** ****MER company named Shabangu Mobile kitchens
I had numerous back and forth email correspondence with a sales rep regarding an order which was fulfilled, however, the bottles received were not the expected design of bottle as my initial query was for square 200ml bottle or a round 200ml bottle, the bottles received were 100ml long cylindrical - completely not the same design at all and i did not realize this at any point in our correspondence. I have requested to exchange the bottles received for the original 200ml bottles but this company is now wanting to charge an extra R500 although I have advised that I will top up for the change in price between the 100ml and 200ml bottles. This is daylight robbery as I was clear about the type of bottle I am looking for and sent a screenshot from their website of it. Why am i being charged a fee when i want to do an exhange and not a refund??? Daylight robbery, i have not seen these products in person and images can be misleading, i should have the right to exchange without random additional charges made up
I placed an order for a product and paid for it same day (8th Feb 2022) the delivery date was stated as the 17th of Feb which was fine although the Orme was meant to be a bday present and the bday would've passed by then but it wasn't a big deal. I took a lot of care and did a lot of research and comparison before deciding on the product I eventually ordered. The BIG Deal came when today, on the 16th of Feb I get a cancelation notification with takealot starting that they were unable to source my product from the supplier and they apologies for the inconvenience. How TF do you inform me the day before my delivery is due that you cannot fulfill it due to unavailable stock from the supplier?? What's worse is that the product I ordered was on special at the time and is available on the site again but it's R200 more expensive. Customer service on Twitter is trying to tell me I should select a similar product from a different brand which I do not want coz I did my research prior and chose the one I did intentionally. It's the perfect gift. 1. How does takealot inform A DAY BEFORE DUE DELIVERY date that they do not have the product in stock? 2. Why was the product so available for purchase on the platform if it was no longer available? 3. The product can actually be sources as it is still available on the site but now costs R200 more - the issue is that takealot seemingly doesn't want to take responsibility for THEIR error and fix this blunder at THEIR cost? 4. I've waited all day for some feedback on this, called twice and was told it's been escalated with no revert back since 9:30am this morning.
