I purchased a bottle of OREGANUM herb, PnP in house brand. when I got home and opened the bottle, it was like opening a bottle of old hay. There was zero taste or smell of OREGANUM, in fact it was a total ripoff. I confronted PnP about this, and they took 3 weeks to get back to me, demanding my life's history. I obliged 2 weeks ago, and since heard nothing back. i still have the so called Oreganum, unused. So to all unsuspecting consumers, please do not buy PnP in house herbs, stick with Robertsons, or even better Woolworths herbs and spices.
Purchased bottle of PnP brand Origanum dried herb. Might as well have bought dried grass, it was disgusting. PnP have a cheek to sell this to unsuspecting consumers. Do not purchase PnP brand dried herbs.
I had an issue with the legs of my 5 plate gas stove collapsing. I immediately notified Smeg, who intern got a company by the name of Linden Appliances to contact me. they contacted me a sent an invoice which I accepted, however I also needed the invoice altered to include glass for my oven. the repair was scheduled, but no show from Linden Appliances. after a few nasty words with Mervin from Linden Appliances, who by the way is arrogant and rude, I contacted Jack from SMEG who went out of his way to assist me and got Bedfordview Appliances to come out immediately to do the repair. my hat off to Jack for his excellent service.
Rude and inefficient. They have a huge attitude problem particularly someone called Mervin. Beware when dealing with this company.
All repairs to my thatch roof were done efficiently.
Redruth thatching was contracted to construct a thatch roof for my house at the Serengeti golf estate. Right from the start I had problems with tardiness, failing to pitch up for work and 100's of excuses.
Eventually after many trial and tribulations, the work was completed.
After moving into the house, I discovered that they had failed to get the thatch to meet the brick walls, leaving a gap where the wind is able to find its way through and turn the house into an icebox, especially in winter.

I plus my building contractor Class construction contacted them on numerous occasions to repair this snag.

This has now ben on going for close on 8 months, and still no joy.
I reported an incident to the MIO about the replacement of a turbo done by Seaman's Renault George in December. The car a Renault Scenic 1.9 turbo, went into so called safety mode, and would not go more than 60km per hour. I took it in to Seaman's Renault George for inspection and after 3 hours they reported that the turbo had gone. They replaced the turbo, and 3 days later the exact same problem occurred. I took the car in a further 2 times, and eventually after nearly 2 weeks they admitted a computer problem. Renault would not refund my R17,000 that it cost for the turbo replacement.
I reported this to the MIO and they found in favour of Seaman's George, even though I pointed out that the invoice and Turbo inspection was done on the very same day by Turbo exchange in Port Elizabeth as I took the car in. The car was inspected around 2pm in George and therefore it was physically impossible to inspect the alleged damaged Turbo in Port Elizabeth the same day.
