I’ve had such a horrible experience with Kings Hardware. On of their drivers even told me that this is the regular experience for a black woman. He said you only get proper assistance when you’re accompanied by a male🚮. They kept on delivering the wrong things and that’s if they even decided to deliver for you in the first place. The final straw was today 15/11/2023 when I went to return a window, which I had ordered a bathroom window and they delivered a garage window with no handles and they refused to exchange or return my money claiming that the handles were included when they weren’t. They also delivered door handles for the same side, with do lock and keys. These products also come in a box but mine were delivered in a plastic bag and refused to give me the correct products. If I could go on about my experience with them, there wouldn’t be enough words to describe how horrible it has been. It got worse when I asked for the excess of my money which I had paid and they were forcing me to buy tiles from them. I really wouldn’t advise anyone to buy from them. They cause you so much stress.
I took up cover with them for my vehicle. I spoke to Sifiso who quoted me a premium of R1210 and an excess of R5000. When they sent over the policy documents, the amount were R1384 and R5850. This is not what we had agreed on. When I tried to query the issue, they ignored me. I have put in multiple requests to even cancel the insurance and I’m still not being assisted. They are extremely dishonest and *************. Imagine if you were to get into an accident and require assistance with a claim and having no one assist you. I really wouldn’t recommend. I’m sure those ratings they speak of, have been written by them👎🏾
I put in a claim for a replacement of my cracked windscreen,it was approved and I paid the excess amount. On arrival for fitting, they came with a pirated second hand windscreen (you could see the marks from a peeled off vehicle disc). Mind you I am covered for comprehensive retail and my car is still under warranty which means only original parts can be used on my vehicle. I then called the insurance to raise my grievance and they have been giving me the run around. They lie that it has been authorised on their side but the glass fitters say that it’s the pirated one that is approved on their side. They still refuse to give me a solid answer with regards to this authorisation issue. I have not been helped and they racially profile☹️

I am having such a horrible experience with the company. I was involved in an accident 7 weeks ago and til this day, I have not received my vehicle back. I’ve been given the run around this entire time. It’s funny cause in one of the correspondences, it was said that my vehicle is “borderline write-off” I’m being told that I’m gonna get regular updates from both the repairers and the insurance but it has to be me who calls in to get updates cause no one bothers. It took 5 weeks from them just to approve my claim. It’s such a nightmare! It’s almost 2 months now but it doesn’t seem like anything has even been done. My biggest mistake was taking up insurance with this company and I’d urge everyone to find better insurance if you don’t ever want to find yourself in this hell that I’m currently living through. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend
As much as the premiums are low. The claims process isn’t seamless. Had an accident 3 weeks ago and my claim hasn’t been validated. The claim process isn’t seamless. The person that was my administrator went on leave and the claim wasn’t subsequently allocated to someone. I’ve had to call in almost everyday and there still isn’t any movement, 3 weeks in
Mathapelo. She offered me a wonderful service and provided the information in a timely manner. 10/10
