My husband and I are watching Mobland on DSTV Catch-up. The subtitles do not correspond with what is said at all. How is this possible? DSTV should look at other Channels to see how it's done, or rather not offer subtitles. I've never seen anything like it. It actually spoils the show for me. No wonder I hardly ever watch any shows on DSTV. Unlike other channels, DSTV is very expensive as well. Definitely not value for money.
I ordered a washing machine from The Gadget Shop SA a month ago. It was supposed to be delivered within one week and I have not received anything yet. The physical address given on their website is **** - that is the reason why one cannot give them a Google Review. There is no Gadget Shop SA in Sandown, Sandton. I had it checked. They do not answer their phones at all. They do not respond to any emails regarding my delivery. Once they have your money, they literally disappear. I reported them to their bank, who confirmed that they have had many similar complaints. The fact that they only accept EFT payments should have been a red flag. I have been asked by two banks to report them to the police (SAPS) in order for them to proceed with ***** investigations. Furthermore, I will be reporting them to South Africa's Cybecrime unit, SARS, and Google. Unfortunately I did not see the terrible reviews on Facebook, Hellopeter, MyBroaddband and other review sites. Please be warned not to order anything from them. They will take your money and never deliver a thing. This is a ****mer website and not a legitimate business.

I bought a Bennett Read vacuum cleaner at Game. Bennett Read offers a one year Warranty. The motor broke after only 4 months. I took the vacuum to TEVO in Cape Town on the 18th of January (as per instruction from Game). Their technician inspected the vacuum and confirmed that it was a repair covered by the warranty. They said that it would take two to three weeks to fix, or would replace the vacuum if it could not be fixed. When I enquired after three weeks, they sent me a quote and said that the vacuum has not been repaired because I never accepted the quotation. I had the original job card, which stated that it was "Product under Warranty", as well as the Game invoice. They couldn't find either of these on their records. I spoke to someone this week and was told AGAIN that I had not accepted their quotation. Once again I was asked to email my proof of purchase and the job card (which I did). I have not heard from them since my last contact with them four days ago. They do not reply to emails at all, and also do not answer their phones.
My car is insured by Momentum. After I was involved in an accident, my car was towed by one of their registered tow truck companies. They towed my car to their premises and refused to tow the car to the panel beater, because they were struggling to get authorisation from Momentum. After many phone calls and confusion, my car was released and towed to the repair shop. My car was assessed by Momentum's assessor and I was informed that the claim has been authorised and repairs would begin - only to receive a call from the repair shop, informing me that they cannot start repairs until they have authorisation from Momentum. I was informed that everything was authorised 11 days ago and that repairs would begin. No parts have been ordered, no repairs have been done, and I have no idea when I will have a car again. The accident happened 18 days ago.
I booked a car through CarFlexi with Europcar. I received confirmation and an E-voucher, but when we arrived at our destination, there was no record of our car rental on the Europcar system. Our only option was to rent another much more expensive car, as the class of car that we booked was "sold out". I paid a deposit to CarFlexi for this rental. I informed CarFlexi of the incident and asked for a refund. I've sent three email requests this week, but they have not responded at all. From now on I will only book directly with the rental companies. Something like this can spoil your entire holiday.
