I ordered flowers on 18 September, to be delivered to my friend in Epsom, UK on 20 September. Not only was it not delivered on the 20th, but today is the 21st and she still hasn't received the flowers! I am demanding a full refund. You're service is absolutely shocking!
This post is to make you aware of the absolutely disgraceful, uncaring and unprofessional lack of service Kyle and I have received from Standard Bank - South Africa Home insurance. 8 weeks ago... yes 8! WEEKS! .... a devastating flood passed through our home. The devastation it caused is unreal. Kyle, myself and our young kids were forced to move out and have had to make alternate living arrangements. During these 8 weeks, we've still paid our bond and rates and taxes. What has standard Bank done in these 8 weeks? .... nothing! The assessor they originally appointed was on leave and was completely unreachable. After countless "45-minute wait" phone calls, Kyle eventually manages to speak to people in the insurance department who are very friendly but still nothing gets done. 8 weeks later and a contractor still has NOT been appointment. Not a single structure of our home has been touched in 8 weeks. This insurance is a joke. You are happy to take my bond each month, take the additional insurance and when your clients need you, you just don't care. I've been your client for 25 years. I want everyone reading this to know that your home insurance should not be an option for people who buy houses. The emotional turmoil my husband, kids and myself have gone through, - which your lack of ethics has contributed to, - you can never understand!
