We ordered Springbok supporters jerseys just before the rugby world cup. They delivered the wrong jerseys, and were then just impossible to contact. The email replies take days and there is no phone number. They wanted us to pay for the return, which after a slow back and forth emailing process they conceded. 2 games into the world cup and we still do not have our jerseys. Hassle free returns (as advertised on their website) and customer service are central to an online shop, these ****ers have neither.
ADT is useless. We took over the subscription with them when we bought a new house, but 3 months, 50 emails and 8 visits from them and we still do not have a fully functioning alarm. All they are interested in is upselling us and getting us to buy more hardware from them, yet the exciting alarm system is still not working fully. They constantly quote for much more than we asked for. The ****er who came to work on our alarm somehow messed up our intercom system, so we are actually worse of then before. And now they have discovered that are alarm wiring is faulty (I'm not sure if they are just trying to make more money out of us), which would have been useful 3 months ago during the transfer of the house when they first came to inspect the alarm. Now the previous owner won't pay for the wiring as she should because the transfer has been completed, all because ADT and their ****** salesmen where trying to sell us all kinds of **** rather than do what we asked them, and still took forever to do it
Car booked in with CK Coachworks CBD through insurance for repairs to 2 rims and 2 tires (minor job, promised to be done in 5-10 days). 19 days after booking in and I am still waiting, told it may be done next week some time. Rims were only sent away for repair 10 days after the car was booked in, meaning it was standing gathering dust while I had to make do without a car. Also massively overcharged the insurance company, luckily this is not my problem. Every time I call them for an update on the car the workshop manager is out or on tea. Every time they say they will call back but they never do. Also no update on the insurance's portal on the work status, which is required every 2 days. Very frustrating waiting for my car while they just don't care
Applied for a bond (home loan) from numerous banks, with Standard Bank giving the best interest rate. As soon as we were committed to them all customer service went out of the window, to the point that the transfer was almost delayed and we would have had to pay a penalty. They quoted the bond on the wrong property, then changed the interest rate to be higher than competitors. When we queried it, they just said that their rates are subject to change (after an agreement had been reached and we even went as far as opening a bank account with them to get the best rates). Eventually we told them to ****** off and went with ABSA. Standard Bank wen back on a written agreement, had horrible client service and communication and couldn't even bother when we tried to sort things out with them.
