Beware-Three different prices for the same item.
I bought a small plant and vase at this store. The price of the vase showed R189. At check out, it scanned R228. When I enquired why it wasn’t what it should be, the cashier enquired with the lady at the front desk. Suddenly a very glum faced man, (Bennie) appeared at the cashiers till. We talked a bit and then he asked me to follow him to the shelf where I found the item. Mind you, all this time being wasted on a very hot day. He looked at the item on the shelf, it showed R189, he then scanned the item again and now it showed R306. What’s going on? 3 different prices on the same item! Eventually a very nice African man came to me and apologized about the price differences. He also looked confused about why the vase had 3 different prices. After paying, I left the store annoyed and disappointed at the same time. Bennie didn't even have the decency to apologize. So beware of what you buy as it could have varied prices on the same item. Yeah!

I sent my original frying pan for recoating and the manager said that their policy is to give customers recoated ones at a cost of course from the store while they send my pan for recoating
I sent my original frying pan for recoating and the manager said that their policy is to give customers recoated ones at a cost of course from the store while they send my pan for recoating. After that it will be resaleable . I took 2 recoated pans and after a few months 1 of the pan’s coating was coming off so I took it back to Verimaak. The manager sent it for assessment and he said they would recoat it and send it back to me. He also said that it would take about 2 months. It’s now 3 months, and I haven’t had any feedback on this issue. When it’s queried, the answer is, it will take about 2 months. It’s now almost 3 months and they have failed to update me as to when it will be ready. Thing is when they want to sell the product to you they are ever so helpful, but when there’s a problem the service lacks priority.
