I consulted with the gym regarding a 12 month promo contract. The sales consultant promised a 12 month contract and assured me it was secured. I entered into the contract and paid upfront. However, after 3 months they had stated that I signed a 3 month contract only and not a 12 month as originally promised in the promo. This is unprofessional and not ethical . They tell you one thing but you are signing on different terms. Be careful when dealing with this gym

Security and safety is pathetic. My car got stolen yesterday at the hotel with all my valuables including a laptop. The security gate was open for thieves to freely enter and steal my car in under 10 minutes. Under camera surveillance, there was no security guard in sight which makes safety a serious concern.
I entered into a contract with Fit24gyms Ballito in February and paid my membership fee for one year in advance. However, within 5 days I changed my mind and stated my intention to cancel in February. It's been almost 2 months since I first sent my cancellation email. As I cancelled within 5 days, I am due for a full refund (in terms of Consumer protection act and the contract) . The gym, however, only makes false promises on when I will receive it. The customer service is only good when they want to lock you into a contract. After that they do not abide by the contract. I do not recommend this gym to anyone, you rather go to a gym that values honesty and customer satisfaction. I have not received my refund as yet and I hope that other customers don't get treated like this in the future.
I joined the Fit24 gyms at ballito in February and paid my gym membership one year in advance. However, I changed my mind about enrolling at the gym. So I sent my cancellation email immediately but the cancellation forms were delayed by the gym . I went everyday but only after 2 weeks they eventually they handed me my cancellation forms to fill in.I filled in those forms and was promised a full refund within 21 days(as per the contract rules) , however, everytime the gym gives me excuses. The customer service at the gym is shocking. My refund is still outstanding to this day. I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism before this. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try before you buy in case you meet with a similar situation
