This company is a ****. I ordered one of their products which seems to be in China even though the company uses Afrikaans on their website. It’s been about a month now and the tracking number doesn’t work anymore. The last tracking position was in China. So just be aware you won’t get your order from these ****sters.
I signed up with Capitec purely to finance my Binance crypto account. I work offs**** so its difficult to get things done on most days with limited wifi available. Went to transfer money from my Capitec account into binance and got a message that the channel is suspended under the capitec banner. So basically I’m *****ed now. Well done capitec I will be closing my account now as its basically useless.
I bought a secondhand Giant ebike from this company. The bike has been in and out of the repair shop ever since. Really disappointed. They should maybe start mentioning any defects on the products that they sell.
I went to the Istore in the Garden Route Mall George. Stood in a line with about 8 people in front of me. 3 people behind the desk with only one serving the customers. Waited about 15min when another employee came and asked what I was there for. I explained that I wanted to have my iphone battery charged and was told that I would have to come back 3hours later. This will be the last time I visit this store as this was not my first bad experience with them. Service doesn’t seem high on their priorities.
I’ve got a Discovery bank account and I use the app to transact on my account for payments and general banking. I’m abroad at the moment sitting offs**** on a construction vessel with the only way to communicate is via wifi. Today I received a message from the bank asking me to KYC my address. I don’t have all the necessary document with me and I’m not able to go home and log into my bank account at night so that they can verify my address via my phones gps. Meanwhile I’m locked out of my account. As soon as I get access to my account I’m withdrawing all my money and closing that account. Its the worst banking app I’ve ever encountered. Every couple of days you have to take a selfie to verify yourself and its slow as hell.
Just want to warn everyone what ever you do please don't update your profile on Fnb accounts. I made the mistake of changing my address and now they are threatening me with a if you don't fica your account we will lock it. I phoned the number provided and they are making me jump through hoops now asking for different documents every couple of minutes. I'm also a private wealth customer but seems to lost my private as he's not answering my calls or responding to emails. I feel like going into the bank and closing my accounts. Very disappointed in the service.
Looks like Cell C is becoming the next Telkom. I've tried to cancel my contract twice now but they keep sending me invoices. The reason I canceled was the fact that they failed to inform me that my contract had changed. The first I heard about it was when I started getting calls from debt collecting agencies. My sim was also blocked so I couldn't log onto the app to check what was going on.
I’ve being with Old Mutual for years now. This month I had a problem with my debit order not going through. I contacted them and they sent me an email with options to fix the problem. I chose the option for the debit to go off again as soon as possible. A week later I get another mail giving me more options to resolve the problem. I can either register on their app or send them a whatsapp. I tried the app first but got nowhere. Then I sent them a whatsapp and was asked to enter my id number which I did. I then got a sorry we don’t recognise your id number. I had similar problems with a disinvestment a couple of weeks ago. Their service is very bad and communication is limited if you get a reply at all. Very disappointed I feel like cancelling everything.
