One month after the installation of my solar panels by Lunar Solar, I believe it's appropriate to provide an impartial review based on my experience. Spoiler alert: This review is entirely positive. The installation process was swift. From receiving my initial quote, making the deposit, to the completion of the installation by Lunar Solar, it took only nine days. Three of those days were spent prevaricating and deliberating on the product and its benefits, which ultimately proved worthwhile. Communication prior to installation was excellent, and the installation team arrived two minutes before the scheduled time on the agreed-upon day, a true rarity in South Africa. The team, friendly and cheerful, immediately began their work. One group focused on the inverter, battery, and sparky bits, while the other handled the solar panel installation. Their seamless coordination indicated extensive experience working together. As a tech-head, I had numerous inquiries, all of which they patiently and comprehensively addressed. The entire installation was completed in a single day, and at 6:30 pm (on a Friday), the team bid a cheerful farewell, leaving me to admire the quality and tidiness of their work. (nuclear power station neat) As for the functionality of the product, it operates flawlessly and thats all it has to do. The added benefit is that it has heightened our awareness of power consumption, resulting in an estimated extra 15% reduction in our household electricity bill by simply being more conscientious about energy usage. Is it a worthwhile investment? Absolutely. I regret not doing it sooner. Is Lunar Solar a reliable company for solar installations? Without a doubt. I am the fourth member of our family to utilize their services, and we unanimously agree that we would choose them again in a heartbeat.
Dis-chem Canal Walk have a monthly habit of promising delivery and just never arriving. They don't phone to advise that there is a delay, they just don't bother delivering. When you phone them you'll get the 'Oh we are terribly sorry, we'll deliver them tomorrow' story. This is a monthly occurrence and is far from acceptable when clients are waiting for chronic meds that have run out. If you don't want to do deliveries then stop offering the service to clients. We can then plan accordingly and move to a service provider that does deliver.
I bought a complete Desert Fox toolkit for my BMW motorbike from Bikegear and was really happy with the high quality of all of the components. Even so, my liberal application of brute force and ignorance managed to damage the inside of a ratchet so that some play had entered the system. I mailed Bikegear looking for a repair kit and two days later a brand-new ratchet arrived at my door via courier at no charge. Honestly, where do you still get amazing backup like that?
