I purchased a television set from Game Vaal Mall on the 28/04/2022. By the 2nd of May 2022 the television set had stopped working. I went to Game Vaal mall and was told that a technician would be called from Hisense to look at the device. I find this very strange as the device was not even 7 days with me. Which entitles me to a new device as this is an out of box failure. I returned the device to Game Vaal Mall on the 13th of May 2022. A request for credit form was filled in store and submitted to Hisense SA( as I was told). I received no communication from the store about the credit application to Hisense. I then called Hisense to follow- up on the credit request which was submitted by Game Vaal Mall. Hisense issued me a credit number to take to the store in exchange for a new device. When I went to the store to get the new device I was told that 2 gentlemen came and took my television mentioning that they were sent by me. These gentlemen were not asked for a slip or identification and I was not even called to confirm if I had sent anyone to collect my device. These gentlemen were handed the device and left the store without even presenting a receipt and were allowed to leave the store by the security personnel on duty. This is Fraud. I have been to Game Vaal Mall again today ( 18 May 2022) and I am being told that they are investigating internally which has nothing to do with me. But I am still without a TV. This makes me extremely upset as the incident happened due to the sloppiness of the officials in store including the security. I went to the police station to open a case as I am being shunted around from pillar to post by the personnel at Game Vaal Mall who are quiet arrogant and disrespectful, I called the head office at Game and was told that I was supposed to get a replacement on the spot but now I am still sitting without a device. I will never purchase anything from Game not even a tin of fish since the their sense of customer service is very poor. Not even the regional Manager could call me to apologize about the incident or provide a way forward that I get a new device while there is an internal investigation. I am not part of any investigation and should not be deprived of what is rightfully mine. I request to be fully refunded in cash.
