I recently made a purchase online with Yuppiechef and I am very happy with my experience and my products. Checkout was simple and I received emails keeping me up to date with the progress of my order. Dillon reached out to me to let me know that their shipping company would send me an SMS the day of delivery to ensure someone would be home to receive my order. When I received my package, there was a beautiful hand written note from Michelle and the team at Yuppiechef which was a really nice personal touch. Everything was packed professionally ensuring nothing would be damaged in transit. I received my package the day after I placed my order. I just received my order from Richard Bosman and I am incredibly happy! I emailed Richard Bosman about a week ago with a special request for a bulk order which they were more than willing to help me with. The customer service was impeccable, I received fast email replies to all of my questions and after I had decided what I wanted, an invoice was promptly sent to me. Delivery took place according to the ETA they provided me with. The product is of high quality. I look forward to doing business with Richard Bosman in future and trying out some of their other products. Such a pleasure dealing with you and money well spent. I bought two separate soap moulds, one blue one and one purple one. The purple mould is of significant lesser quality than the blue mould. The purple moulds buckle in the centre and the corners are not as sharp and uniform resulting in less visually appealing bars of soap once cut. The owner refuses to replace the purple mould for the blue one (despite quality differences pointed out) because she can only replace like for like (in terms of colours) and doesn’t want to adjust her inventory on the admin side of the website- this product is listed as a single product on the website with a drop down box where you can select the colour you want (all the same price), no mention of the moulds being different quality. Very expensive product considering quality varies between colours. I wish the pictures reflect the differences on the website as the photos that are currently up show no difference in quality despite the colour variants- this is false and misleading representation of products in terms of marketing. The owner mentioned to me that I would have to place a new order and pay a delivery fee again (which was R100) if I would like the blue mould because of quality variants so that she would not have to adjust any inventory on the admin side of her shop. Conveniently, after fighting back and forth with the owner insisting she replace the purple mould with the blue mould, the blue moulds are now out of stock. I assume this is so that she doesn’t need to replace my purple one with a blue one and can rather insist on getting rid of old stock of purple moulds that are not the same quality. This owner doesn’t take kindly to feedback and gets annoyed when you contact her on her cell phone number that is provided on the website even if the office line is engaged. Her solution to my issue was that she can only replace the purple mould with the same quality purple mould (because she doesn’t want to do the admin on inventory) which she confirmed are all the same quality as the purple mould I had or to refund me and I could order the blue mould again as a separate order but I would have to pay delivery fee once again, which I was not willing to do at R100 for a replacement item that did not live up to the pictures advertised on the website. I asked that she offer me the refund plus free shipping so that I can place a new order for the blue mould as suggested and she would not have to amend inventory on the admin side of her website to which she refused and said if I want the blue mould I would need to pay for shipping once again. The owner is extremely rude and combative and has no desire to amend the problem with an appropriate solution or to ensure her customers are happy by addressing their feedback in a constructive manner. I would caution you spending your hard earned money here just in case you receive a defective or lesser quality product.
I bought a personalised necklace for a friend who lives overseas and Meraki Jewellery went over and above to accommodate all of my special requests. The gift was sentimental and my friend loved it. One small critique is that I wish they would have sent me some high quality pictures of the finished product so that I could see it properly before it was shipped Off to America. Other than that I had a very good experience with everyone involved. Thank you for helping me create something that is timeless, sentimental and unique to a very special friend who will cherish it forever!
I have bought some of Sally Ann Creeds hy****ysed collagen and so far so good. I am happy with it, barely has any taste and the glass jars are beautiful and practical. They constantly run very good promotions which I will be taking advantage of. I dealt with Abigail via email and she was very helpful, kind and friendly. Good Customer service makes all the difference when it comes to your experience as a consumer. I will absolutely be supporting this company in the future. Highly recommend!
Excellent service, exceptional produce. My fiancé and I have been to the store and purchased the Tjopbox, some steaks, a jar of tallow and a spinach braai pie, the ladies who helped us were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The Tjopbox went down a treat and we decided to purchase a deep freeze just so that we could order more lamb from the Tjop Shop. I placed an order for half a lamb, the butchers box for the week and some more steaks. I was very happy to receive my order just a few days later. Again the customer service was excellent- they helped me to correct a mistake I made on my order details, let me know a day before delivery took place so that I could ensure we would be home to receive the order and promptly resolved another issue to ensure we were very happy customers. We will continue to buy our meat from here as long as they are around! Thank you Tjop Shop! We will absolutely be back. Their lamb is tender, succulent, sweet and not gamey at all. Their steaks are delicious and are of restaurant quality. 10/10 recommend!
Alan and his team did a magnificent job making my engagement ring. My fiancé and I spent time explaining our vision to Alan and he personally took the time to respond to each and every one of our messages in a timely manner, addressing any concerns we had as well as carefully explaining how our design would be best executed to look beautiful but also keep the structural integrity so that the ring would be durable for everyday wear. We made little tweaks to our design during the CAD process and the adjustments were made promptly while Alan kept us up to date throughout the whole process. After we approved the final CAD, the ring was made in just a few weeks and my fiancé received progress pictures during the whole process. After the ring was complete, Alan sent some ring check pictures with a few videos so that we could make sure we were happy. We had a few final questions and Alan assured us that the ring was perfect. He shipped the ring to us (we had just moved across the country) and the ring arrived safely with some extra surprise goodies. I love my ring and it is in fact perfect. Alan and his team executed our vision perfectly with attention to detail. I am so happy we chose OgilvieGems as the experience was personable, professional and reassuring every step of the way. I can’t wait to work with Alan on future projects! Great quality, great service and great prices. I will recommend Alan and his team at OgilvieGems to anyone looking for beautiful high quality custom made jewellery- especially engagement and wedding rings. This man Sarel Allers- owner of Sarel’s driving school has de*****ed me of R3000. He did not show up for multiple lessons that I had booked for, on one occasion he said he had two damaged wheels from hitting potholes the night before and couldn’t find a place open to replace his tyres and on another occasion he didn’t show up and I got a voice note hours later saying that he had been locked up for road rage but no charges had been laid against him. He has been promising my money back to me for 10 months now. I always have to be the first to reach out to him to find out what is happening with my refund. He gets aggressive when being confronted with the fact that he owes me money. I offered that he payed me back in instalments and he has not made one single effort despite the fact that I reach out to him on a monthly basis. He posted on Facebook that he has R30 000 cash for a new car but tells me he has no money to pay me back right now and will pay me “when he can”. He has held on to my money for over a year now and is ignoring my messages asking for my money back even though he is still posting specials on his driving lessons. Do not pay this man any money upfront to his FNB account SJJ ALLERS 62515244979. I saw another review on here where he ****med a woman out of money and when I confronted him with it he came with a bunch of excuses as to why the 1 bad review was up. I now have to take Mr Allers to small claims court to get my money back. I will be reporting this to the ombudsman and any relevant authorities as well. I have been nothing but accommodating and patient and I am now being ignored. This is a disgusting way to conduct business and I do not recommend going through this man for your driving lessons (I have never even met this person face to face yet he is withholding my money from me). Go with a more reputable driving school or you might have to waste time going to court to get your money back from him. I am now at my absolute wits end and I will be taking all of my communications with Mr Sarel Allers to court to force him to give me my money back which was due 10 months ago.
Someone from this company phoned my business partner almost a year later to ask me to edit my review to confirm that I did receive my product eventually despite no one from bulk Epsom salts following up with me after the fact as they were having some trouble with another customer who allegedly claimed she did not receive her product when she did and was using my review to back up her own claims. I do not want to be involved in whatever is going on between another customer and this company but it is unfortunate that even after the shocking service I received (and no follow up from the company from a customer service perspective) and having to beg for my product, I am being contacted for favours. I wish this company cared enough about their customers experience of them and not just their own damage control tactics after the fact to save face. After amending my review I didn’t so much as receive a thank you. I really wish they would work on improving their customer services, and the way they handle disgruntled customers. Their service is not fast and efficient and the owner is very aggressive and untactful. The way I have been treated during this whole interaction makes me incredibly frustrated. There has been no response on my reviews from the owner but I see she is creating her own reviews of bulk Epsom salts on here in order to save face instead of addressing negative feedback in a respectable manner, In my opinion this lacks integrity.
