We dealt with Dewald from iFloors Sandton who gave us the great advise and service. He was there every day and managed his team and expectations from the start. He really controlled all the unexpected issues that cropped up and made this a hassle free renovation. I highly recommend him and his team ( Tel no: 011 262 5297).
I met Wentzel from 'Cupboard Doctor' and was bowled over by what he displayed as passion for perfection regards his installation. I believed I had found someone who cared. I paid 50% deposit on 19 Jan ’17 & the balance had to be paid in full the day they start (should have been my first sign). The guys started on the Tuesday, they arrived with no materials and when I went to see how they were doing, after about 3 hours, they were sitting waiting for Wentzel to deliver the materials, which only arrived about 10am the next day. On the 28th Feb ‘17 ( two days short of a week, after I was told it’s a weeks job) his guy told me his done and won’t be back. The installation was at best 90% complete. In the meantime the entire time Wentzel did not visit the site or inspect his workman’s workmanship. On the 13th March ’17 they returned for one day to complete the work, after begging for them to return and the attitude was he’s doing me a favour, the job was completed rudimentarily. Again after numerous call and emails, they finally came back to fix snags, of which they completed about 50%, on the 25th April ’17. Now all my calls and emails are ignored. Through the entire process only on my insistence to meet with Wentzel to show him the snags and incomplete installation did he visit the site, to date he hasn’t seen the finished product.
