Poor Online/Whatsup Service, and poor English skills
Hello, I just wanted to say I thank the good Lord above that I found this site! I was getting ready to order a R 12,000 Apple Mac Pro from this company, but after getting some bad vibes, I typed in, and googled "Reviews on Laptop4u" and got this site. I was hoping I would find some information on this company. I only decided to look them up; when today they didn't even bother to converse with me through their little icon they have on the bottom right of the screen. I did speak to them a few weeks ago... when I was still researching all the different laptops there are to buy in my price range. On that day they did respond back to me, but I found their English skills to be a bit poor. The tenses were not correct etc, and after each question I had; they took about 5 minutes to get back to me. Then.... they just left me hanging and never said goodbye or, "Sorry but we are busy right now" etc. I thought that was a bit odd, but tried to blow it off. Today, however, I was ready and able to finally buy the laptop of my dreams. But after being stood up and made to wait.... for nearly an hour with no reply - I decided to google them and found this site. I'll also say that during my last conversation with them.... I asked about the laptop in the picture that says the battery has only 122 cycles on it. They then told me that one was sold already, but they had a rather new one with only 518 cycles. However, the website plainly says that every laptop shown in the pictures.... is indeed the one for sale, but not so with me! Also no power cord or charger was listed along with the laptop, so make sure and ask about that. Note: ( Strange that today... over six weeks later...the same laptop with 122 cycles is still listed for sale, but it was sold even back then. ) My rating here may not mean much in the end, but I felt I should add my 2 cents. I did not buy anything from them, but did feel uneasy when I was online with their rep. He didn't come across as a computer geek of any kind of savy person. I felt like I was trying to pull teeth to get each answer out of him. Why did I even come back to that site after over a month away? Good question....lol. Actually, because now I have the funds and was doing some last minute checking and just happened to land on "laptops4u" again. I had totally forgotten my experience with them before, because.... as I said; "I blew it off" Well, today after no one replied, it brought it all back to me, and so I googled them for any reviews. Maybe there are some good people working there, and if so.... I'm sorry, but hey... your company should also be responding to all of these negative reviews and should be trying hard to make things right. That would go a long way.... as you know what they say about silence..... it makes people wonder! Taking the 5th.... is not good business!!! Cheers.....
