We had a borehole put in and PR Pumps did the installation. At the time I cannot fault their work, as they kept their promises and did a great job. Fast forward to where the pump broke down. After a week of phone calls I got hold of their supplier who came round and said that due the way the pump was installed they couldn't replace the pump but would drop off the replacement with PR Pumps. PR Pumps then told me that there would be a call out fee but they would do it at cost. I thought that was unfair as it was a Warranty claim but agreed. Their "at cost" bill came to R2 058 that included traveling for R1 120 calculated at at R7/km. My recommendation is do not use this company if you are not in the Pretoria area. They are keen to do the work but back off when there is a problem. I am bitterly disappointed in them for a company that started off so well that I had personally recommended to friends to let you down when the product failed.
I have just phoned MTN to query why there is such a large debit order that has gone off my credit card to be told: 1. It is a payment for the last 3 months because MTN didn't take the money off. 2. MTN don't do credit card debit orders anymore, I need to get a debit card ???? 3. I need to go to a branch to pay my account. While every other company is going forward with technology, MTN looks like it is heading back to the dark ages

I have been with MTN for over 20 years and have occasionaly traveled internationally. This time, I suddenly cannot use my phone because " I am not registered for roaming " All attempts to resolve this are met with a lack of urgency and customer care
During this month I was contacted by a Kyle from Summer Mobile who upgraded my contract and here is the problem. I specifically told him that I use the phone for business and airtime is important. He told me that the package that I was on, Talk 750 and Anytime Minutes 350 that he changed me to was the same in terms of airtime. He also stated that I would only be paying R750 p/m and I would be getting 5 gigs of data. On that basis I agreed to the contract. On finding out that he lied about the air time and fraudulently misled me into the contract that is where the drama started: • Since the 18th (Ref: ********** 25) I must have very conservatively spent over 3 hours on the phone. • Your Channel Support is worse than useless as their only function seems to be passing the buck. • Summer Mobile falls into the same category. There was no apology over their very unethical sales technique and referred me back to MTN. • I got hold of Thuli Makathini on the 22nd who at least tried to help (Ref: ********** 07) and who told me to phone back on the 28th and speak to the upgrades department who could maybe change my contract to suit my needs. • The above is impossible to do because all along all you get from your “Helpline” is to be jerked from person to person who eventually transfers your call to someone who drops the call. I have sent three e-mails to their complaints line with no response
