Yesterday my Std PVR decoder stopped receiving signal, just out of the blue. I contacted the call centre to check what to do or what was wrong as my HD decoder was working perfectly. I was told nothing they can do as the std PVR is becoming obsolete and I will need to bring in the decoder. it was an answer that was pre-decided as they knew exactly why it wasn't receiving signal. I feel its unacceptable that DSTV is forcing our hand when it comes to the explorer decoders. There was no sell by date when purchasing the decoder?? if they are changing then surely they should supply the new coder? I would like some answers as the call centre was not willing to help, to resolve my issue. To which we know why!!
My wife was in an accident, and we took the car in for assessment on the 28th April. I received a mail advising that Neresa will be handling my claim and will take 3-4 working days and that the next update will be the 5th May. Up until today I have received nothing about my claim which is over 5 working days and I am having to follow up with Virgin to get the status. This is not my responsibility! especially if you commit to a timeframe on feedback!
