My car since having beed attended at CMH Toyota uMhlanga hasn't been the same. Instead of it coming back in good condition. It cam back with what seems to have been a botched half job. The starter/ignition is failing and the gears are failing on the inclined hill. It has been the worst experience since having been with Toyota. I have used other branches with good service until I had to deal with CMH. From the delaying on diagnostics of the car to items that are on back order on ends. Toyota should take this car and fix whatever they messed up there. mthiyaneralph@gmail.com
I have had the worst experience of customer service with CMJ Toyota uMhlanga. I have used Bidvest Toyota Durban North, Toyota Richards Bay and Toyota uPhongolo. All have rendered a great service to me. Which I took as a Toyota SA ethos. On the 26th of June I had a mechanical break down of ny toyota Starlet. The closest branch it coulbe towed to was CMH that on a Sunday night. The following mornjng I called to confirm if the car was there, and the help desk lady confirmed indeed. However it has been very difficult deing with them from delayed diagnostics reports to not getting a courtesy car because they need to diagnose first, mind you it took them almost three weeks to do that. Which raised suspicions on my part whether they were working on the car or attending to it at their own convenince. I even had to put an extra leave at work because they were not compliting the work because I don't permanently live in Durban. My workplace is 410+km from Durban. I subsequently got the car after so many delays because they say the can't until the diagnostics arw done, Toyota confirms if they will cover the parts as the car is still under warranty and that they need to have a confirmation order of the said parts. Fast forward to late last week. I called Toyota customer care and got feedback that the car should be done on Friday. When I called CMH they said the car will be ready on Monday the 15th. On Friday the 12th they called me to tell me I must come the will be ready, mind you I must drive from Ngwavuna to Durban. When I got there they said the car's jobcard is not complete but i can take the car. ON Saturday the car had a problem with the ignition it would take time to ignite and start and it would fail to go un an inclined on hear 1 and it does not pick up speed as before. This happed on Sunday again a number of times. I notified the service person and they said I must bring it in. While there on Monday the mechanic just did a physical exam of the car and started it. No tests done, NOTHING! and he says tis probaly the new parts. This gives me an impression that CMH did a half job on this car, they were fixing this car in a hurry and they had no care whatsoever about the results. I expect CMH to take this car do a full diagnostics and fix whatever they did wrong with this car. mthiyaneralph@gmail.com
