We bought a unit in Newinbosch Neighborhood Estate in Stellenbosch. We received a very unsatisfying unit and after struggling for months with contractors still have not received a product worth paying that much for. We pay levies each month with no support from home owners association and still sitting with many flaws. Its seems that as long as a sale is made the rest is not their problem.
After many problems caused by Travelstart after they canceled my booking and leaving me stranded at the airport the still have not refunded my money after weeks which should have been done in 3-5 working days. Will never book or recommend them.
After I booked my tickets through Travelstart and the money was deducted they failed to send my my E-tickets. I tried contacting them with no success. I then had to buy another ticket for my first flight at the airport. I tried contacting them again before my next flight to which the only reply via email was that they are canceling my booking. No valid reason was given why and no assistance was given to resolve the problem or assist with another booking. This was hours before my next flight and caused so much trouble in trying to get another flight in such short notice. This led to me having to borrow money to purchase yet another ticket. The price difference between the original ticket and what i ended up buying was more than R10 000. The total cost of tickets so far are about R35000. This led toe ending up with little to no money the purpose of the travel was to get medical attention after a injury which i can not afford to get now. After fighting and reporting and very little feedback the did not even refund the full amount i paid to begin with and am still stuck in a very bad financial spot with still no feedback and still stuck not being able to do anything without money.
I have had major problems with my booking throught Travelstart and they have put me in a very bad position financially. I book booked through Travelstart and the payment went off. When i got to the airport for my first flight i still did not recieve my E-ticket. After contacting them with no success I had to purchase another ticket. I tried contacting them before my next flight to resolve the problem to which they replied by canceling my Tickets without a reason why and without assisting me with another flight. By this time i was a few hours away from my next flight which resulted in me buying another ticket. I ended borrowing money to pay for the tickets which resulted in a total of R35000. This placed me in a very bad financial position as I am traveling home for medical reasons and have liitle to no money left to seek further medical attention. I have contacted them again to which they replied that te problem has been resolved but nothing has yet been done. I do not recommend booking with them and am very dissipointed and frustrated in the results.
