We were promised a 10% discount if we brought dog food or supplies for their animal welfare initiative, which we were happy to support. However, when we brought the items and asked about the discount, we were told it had already been “built into the quotation”. This doesn’t make sense, as the quotation was given before anyone could know whether we would actually bring anything. We have no problem supporting animal welfare, but making promises and then changing the explanation afterwards feels misleading. In addition, after calling to collect our vehicle, we had to wait for an hour for our vehicle, as they were not done yet. So why in the first place did they tell us to come and collect if they were still busy with the vehicle. Overall, the experience left us disappointed. Transparency and keeping to what was promised would go a long way.
Actually I don't want to give them any rating. They didn't deserve it. Someone just phoned me regarding my homeloan debit order that did not go through the end of Feb. The other one did go through. I said to the *********** person that I don't know why. She ask me if there's enough money in the account. I confirmed. Then she had the audacity to ask me again and said the ONLY reason the debit order wouldn't go through is because there is NOT enough money in the account. I said to her, "so in other words you are saying that I am lying?" Obviously she rep**** no. But sorry that doesn't cut it for me. She is saying that I am lying. I opened my banking app. Still the same amount in it - actually even more - that was there in the first place, enough for both debit orders to go through. The previous lady that helped me setting up the debit orders, were so nice and friendly. This *********** woman can not think further than her nose is long..... What I think happened was the one was a old debit order, and the other one was new. Somewhere there should have been a authorisation that I needed to do, maybe a message or I don't know. Maybe I missed it. But that doesn't make it right that she is assuming that I am lying. That just shows that she didn't even consider other possibilities for the debit order that did not go through. And that tells me she shouldn't be in a job like this. She's ******** and ***********. She's throwing away Nedbank's name. Not that it would take that much in any case to do it.

They helped me in reducing my monthly installment for my home loan with Nedbank, that was just increasing the amount each month and my salary could not cover it anymore... As well as other. Wilbur is the consultant that helps me with every question or inquiry I have or even if there is a problem, and he is always willing to help out. He is always friendly and helpful and if he can't answer me right away, I know that he will come back to me as soon as possible. I want to thank him for his support. He is one of the best.

My account was hacked on the end of June 2022. We had to block every account linked to the main account as well as all the cards. I had to go to the bank and changed my profile and passwords. Since then, I had to go into the bank (I'm working everyday - so I need to take of off work) just to get access to my own money-app. It's been 5 times now. For a total of approximately 5+ hours on different occasions. Still no access to my money-app.... And to make things worse - I places myself under debt counselling, and Nedbank actually flagged my husband's account. He sat there for more than 3 hours just to sort out their incompetence. And still the lady just said, that is how the things work - when your spouse is under debt counselling, you can't receive your salary. Can you imagine, no money for the month. Luckily the lady who is doing my counselling, phoned them and sorted everything out. We are not married in comm but outside, and that is why my husband told Nedbank's lady that something doesn't make sense and it is wrong. She still sticked to her story, because the lady at customer care service told her so.... Luckily there's an Indian guy that knows how to do his job, if it wasn't for him that sat on the phone for more than an hour and the lady from debt counselling, we would have been in so much trouble this month. The people at customer care from Nedbank and most of them inside the bank are incompetent to do their jobs, and our money is in their hands. That is just a troublesome thought... And remember I still don't have any access to my account....
This is not the 1st time we are struggling with these people just to get a quotation. We gave the order on Monday for a quote. Yesterday (Wednesday) my husband went there to talk to the manager - she's never available. Today on Thursday, still no quote. I just wonder do these people want to do business at all. We are running a business and can't do what we are supposed to do in time... This business is not going to survive in this small town, if they are not going to do their job properly. Please people WAKE UP!!!!!!
