Used to be a good company, don’t know what’s happened now. Horrific customer service. Ordered a computer mouse on the 10th of December 2024, it is now the 27th of January 2025 and I’ve still not received anything. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I even selected shipping insurance on my order. So called 5 day lead time or whatever they advertise, every couple of weeks I get a lousy attempt to let me know it will be here in a few days, but every time it turns out to be a lie. If they cared about me as a customer they would have just simply made a plan, taken ownership of the problem and sorted it out. I’ve spent hundreds of thousands at this company and referred multiple businesses to use them, but they’ve now lost my business permanently, I’d rather go to Wootware or Rebeltech.
Saw an ad for adoption of a beautiful pup named buttercup from this shelter on Facebook, we phoned to book an appointment to come see her, where we were asked about what pets we already have, which we have two cats, and one adult female German shepherd (her name is Java), only to be abruptly told that we cannot adopt Buttercup, because Java is a female adult, in what world does this make sense ? The lady on the phone said that it is because when buttercup and Java will fight over territory. We’ve had a situation at home where an injured bird was in our garden and Java was protecting the bird and herding the cats away to keep the bird safe, she wouldn’t hurt a fly. Not to mention our cats are both adult cats who just two months ago joined the family, Java hasn’t had any sort of aggression over them whatsoever since they’ve been here and she didn’t know cats before and wasn’t raised around them, she is a complete sweetheart, but this “shelter” wasn’t in the slightest concerned about finding out more about Java and our circumstances to see if Buttercup would be a good fit for our home. I would have paid very much above the “adoption fee”, even 10x the adoption fee if it meant supporting a good respectable organisation, but the way that we were treated does not sit right with me. And then as a animal shelter you want to post how infuriated you are when a puppy hasn’t had any offers for adoption in weeks. Really in what world can you not adopt a female pup because you already have a female adult dog in your family. I can understand that you might have adoption rules, but they shouldn’t be that ridiculous, and at least try to accommodate and hear people out, organise a home visit, offer to allow the doggies to meet and see how they interact. And looking at the other reviews of this shelter it makes me sad, rather call yourself a pet shop if you’re in it for the money, and being kind to the people who are actually willing to come to a shelter to adopt fluffy family members is the least you can do.
My experience with Mit Mak was not good, when I saw the car I wanted on their website, I enquired and was told that someone else was interested (which I don't doubt because the car was in immaculate condition) so the sales guy advised me to pay a holding deposit to secure the car since it was a Friday, I proceeded and payed the holding deposit on the 5th of August, although I was going on holiday the next day and was told that the car would only be ready by the following Thursday (still on holiday at that time) but even though I had payed my holding deposit and was obviously going to purchase the car, I kept getting nagged to sort out the insurance and the finance as fast as possible (even over the weekend) after all the paper work and insurance was sorted the following week, I also had asked to have a tracker installed and the back bumper resprayed to match the color of the car as it had a slight difference in shading to the rest of the body, "No problem sir, we will sort everything out" said the sales man over the phone, on Thursday the car was supposed to be ready, the sales man gives me a call and says it will only be ready by Saturday (Which I have no problem with, I am only getting back from holiday on Sunday anyways, I just wanted the bumper fixed and a tracker installed), he also told me that he had sorted out the bumper, Saturday comes and the car is delivered to my parents house, the guy who had delivered my car told my dad that the back bumper just has some layer of protection around it and that is why it is not the same color. (Which is incorrect it clearly is not the same as the rest of the cars protection wraps and bits), I arrive at home on Sunday and realize this, when I got into the car to take a drive, when I turned the wheels reversing out the driveway, my dad noticed cracks all over the side wall of the front left tire. this tire was irreparable and was obviously well hidden as we had not noticed before, I also wasn't made aware of this by the sales man, some of the tire changing tools were also missing, so I had message the sales man to let him know about this. A week later he calls me back (by which time I had already went and purchased a new tire because I cannot drive without a spare wheel), I tell him that I have purchased a new tire now because of this and he says "Alright I will see what we can do", it has been over a month now and still no response. On top of that, when I had purchased the car, they had applied for finance for me, with an extra 20k worth of stuff on top of the cars purchase price, and said that it was for service and delivery as well as a warranty. When I said I don't want the warranty, they said that the cannot sell the car without it. Which is absolutely ridiculous! At least add it to the purchase price of the ****ing car! Rather than just secretly adding value to the finance agreement. What if I wanted to take out a mechanical warranty with a different company that I trust? I was also getting nagged by the sales man to do a review here for a long time, and I was not going to do a review until I was satisfied with their service, but I guess they do not care about their customers after they rip them off.
