I recently visited the Lupa Osteria branch in Loftus with my partner, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. After waiting to be seated, the manager eventually showed us to a table. We quickly decided on what to order, but to our surprise, not a single member of staff attended to us. We sat for nearly 20 minutes without any acknowledgment, service, or even a drink order being taken. As young adults, we felt completely overlooked and discriminated against. Every customer deserves the same level of respect and urgency, yet the staff showed no interest in serving us or earning our business. We ultimately decided to leave, and it was only when we informed the staff that we were leaving due to the lack of service that they made a half-hearted attempt to apologise. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially at a restaurant with such a high price point. The disregard for basic customer service was extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment, as the experience falls far short of the standards one would expect.
I recently visited the Burger King branch in Hatfield. I ordered two cuppa cakes. As I left the branch, and tasted the ice cream of the cuppa cake, and it tasted soapy. My friend ate her cuppa cake and noticed the same unpleasant taste of the ice cream. So we returned to the branch and informed the employees of the strange taste. And then we were introduced to the manager. Every employee who we encountered for this complaint was rude and unprofessional. They told us that we were wasting food and proceeded to complain about me and my friend in their language, thinking we wouldn’t understand. We asked for no replacement cuppa cakes, but the manager complained saying she already put the order in. This was after they took our initial cuppa cakes and tasted it, before asking what we’d like to happen. Every employee told us that’s how the ice cream is meant to taste, and when we asked whether it was because of how the machine was cleaned, they told us that the machine isn’t cleaned. It was a very bad experience. I love burger food but this service was awful. My friend and I were made to feel stupid and we weren’t even helped properly.
I experienced the worst customer service with MTN recently while trying to recover my phone number after my phone was stolen. The sim swap process is meant to be convenient so that I can protect my original number, but all my attempts to perform a sim swap were deemed futile. I attempted a sim swap 3 times in one week, due to poor assistance from staff. It reached a point where I was constantly being referred to the call center services after visiting branches, only to discover that call center agents are not allowed to assist with sim swaps. I still don't have my original number despite making three visits to MTN to resolve the issue. I've been extremely patient, and now I have exceeded the amount of sim swap attempts allowed. The staff weren't pleasant in all my revisits and I was treated with no consideration or urgency. A very horrible experience. I'm contemplating changing network providers because of this.
