MEDICROSS RANDBURG JOHANNESBURG CR A CROUS Extremely poor, very sloppy, old-fashioned dentistry. He has no electronic/computer aids to show a patient what the problem looked like. Tiny filling in front tooth had to be replaced. Both front teeth ended up covered in hardened dental cement - (top and inside) which cannot be removed. This man is middle-aged and seems to have very little experience.
FOLLOW-UP ON MY REVIEW YESTERDAY. Today, I called a Kelvinator oven spare parts distributor in Randburg for a price on a replacement switch for the Kelvinator KC 600 BS oven. Their price for the switch is R254 + VAT = R292.10 total. Andrea (081 716 9708) from Superior Repairs charged me R750.00 for the component (switch). They increased the price of this switch with R457.90. And then still charged me an additional R850.00 extra for labour. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. THEY DESERVE NO STARS WHATSOEVER.
BEWARE....BEWARE I called Superior Repairs (083 800 2852) to have a look at my oven in Boskruin, Randburg. Unbeknownst to me, they diverted my the call/instruction to a sub-contractor named James who, to his credit, came out quite quickly and replaced some or other switch. However, when I did not receive an account (James called me several times as to why I did not receive his account by email), I called the office and asked to talk to the manager. The lady at the switchboard refused to put me through to the manager, and refused to tell me his name. I eventually got hold of George. Contrary to Superior Repair's Internet advert that they do not charge a call-out fee when they do actual work (which they did), James wanted me to pay him a more-than-R800 call-out fee, and to pay the entire amount into his personal account, once I receive the details. Still waiting to hear from Superior Repairs.
2 October 2022 JH GENERATOR SILENCERS, a registered business in Northvale A.H., Krugersdorp, owes us R3,000.00 which the owner, despite many emails and telephonic requests over a period of months (July/August/September 2022), has refused/still refuses to pay. Johan assured us in writing that he does indeed have the money, and that he is not in financial trouble. He completely ignores any emails or SMSs from us. He only answers his phone if he does not recognize the telephone number. If he does, the call goes to voicemail. This has been tested several times. Johan has refused to provide his correct, full BUSINESS ADDRESS at which legal documents can be delivered. This is the most shocking, unethical behaviour on the part of Johan. Judging by the many bad reviews on the Internet, people like this need to be brought to justice and, more importantly, the public protected. He does not deserve even one star.
