Good Day all staff and potential learners My only reason to study at Regent Bcom in SCM was because MANCOSA is no longer offering it. Since my registration this has been an constant nightmare. My study material has been late,and my biggest problem till now is that I cannot upload my assignments during the opening time and have to contact them constantly during and after to open the portal leading to exorbitant fees. This was fone to me lsst year and guess what now again. Im in my second year. I vonstantly liased with student support since all my modules was firstly not reflectling, then my calender information was not present. I had to submit two assigments BIS and Commercial Law not even there quizes could open. I sent multiple emails with proof the assignments are done but the portal is closed. My direct contact person was o Trisha and I included multiple team members and called before the closure. In typical Regent style they now sent me a bill for R1500 to pay OR ELSE I WONT GET MY RESULTS. They are conveniently forgetting it's their own website that is blocked and cannot upload. All my assignments are done way before the deadline since doing a fulltime strenuous job and studying cannot always merge. We are all aware of Regents tactics in this manner. Once they know you cant upload nobody will assist so you will have to pay in.
Total change of rules. Can no longer gave visitors. The security did not even want my dad to come till RECEPTION. Threatening and treating a 69 year old pensioner to give a doctors letter. The man at reception said he will throw me and my father out who do we think we are. No induction was done yet. I am supposed to study now they threatened him if he comes back they will show him. I am not allowed to fetch my laptop either. Whats the use cos im more stressed. By the way the receptionist guy said he is the manager and no one will tell him.
In July i was called by an agent from Urban Lifestyle on behalf of MTN selling me a data sim card. I had to pay R400 for activation and R200 there after. Since July i have been paying but never received the SIM card. Upon enquiry the delivery company said it was sent back but i was never contact at the time to deliver. I have a contract for 20yrs with MTN. When i called Mtn they said they can see the transaction and gave me ULifestyle contacts. When i called UL they could not trace it and i provided them proof of the debit orders off my account. It even gets better so i emailed the customer service line and the call center @MTN asks for my ID , MTN PIN, Adress and full details the same thing on twitter. This is after they warn u not to give it. So calling the call center is in vain. Using X is in vain and MTN ***** does not want to take my case after i paid a R1000 rand with still no Data SIM. The agents want to sit and argue with u instead of checking and assisting on both sides. The agents at Urban Lifestyle are the worst and can openly and blatantly lie. They refuse to transfer u to a senior and cut the calls. Do not take out any Contracts or Sims from them. I stopped the debit order from my side as they are in breach of contract for 6 months into the contract. Sitting here R1k out of pocket ignore there calls and block them.
