I dined in at the Cattle Baron De Waterkant for my belated birthday and ordered a meat on board kinda meal as well as drinks. I ordered a double of KWV 12 year old brandy and when the gent who served me brought it; I said to him it doesn't look like a double. He mumbled something I couldn't understand. I ordered second round of KWV 12 year old brandy instead he brought me a Richelieu brandy. Ordered a third round of KWV 12 year old brandy and once again he brought the Richelieu brandy. The steak was watery, tasteless and the lamb was just pieces of bones with no meat on. The disrespect, misrepresentation and worst unprofessional experience ever.
I recently visited Khayelitsha Mall SuperSpar and I must say even before entering the store, I was puzzled by the dysfunctional trolleys. You had to literally lift the trolley to move or turn instead of pushing it. The store was not that packed but the issue was malfunctioning trolleys for everyone in the store, people are lifting trolleys at the store. Poorly elderly couldn't move and were unable to move due to dysfunctional trolleys and sadly they can't lift it because they are not so strong. I asked the lady who roams around with the microphone and making announcements - she couldn't answer me. She walked away instead. Left me hanging. I managed to get to the baby food section in the corner somewhere. Such a sad sight seeing a lady who works as a merchandiser. Her trolley is literally damaged, she was lifting it in order to move items. I asked her what's going on here with the trolleys, all she could say was "all of them are like this". Totally unacceptable for letting your employees work under such conditions. Totally disgraceful to let the elderly people suffer like that in your premises whilst supporting your business. Sort out the trolley issue - it is not that difficult! Do not let your lack of care and being unorganised affect the customers that is totally unfair to customers as well as employees. Do better!
I hold a number of shares through employee share scheme at Capitec Bank and dividends were paid on the 15 May 2023. To this date, I have not received my dividends payout. There is a dividend confirmation slip that shows everything has been done but surprisingly the funds never reached my bank account, and there is no problem or issues with the receiving bank account. An incorrect employee number that I picked up on the statement, and I communicated that information yet I have not heard from Capitec Bank. The last communication that was sent to me was on the 23 May 2023 and was provided with information I already have and very much aware of. I have been sending numerous emails in order to have the issue resolved and there has been no response. I need to know what happened to my dividends because they cannot disappear into thin air without any explanation. Is this how or what is going to happen to my dividends payout every time they are due? I need answers and very quick!
I resigned from my previous job month end of August and put through my claim. I received communication that they had received the claim on 26.09.2022 and disinvested the funds on 29.09.2022. I chased this up a couple of times and received communication on the 07.10.2022 that the tax directive had been approved on 06.10.2022 and the payment would be made within 7-14 working days. I waited and followed up after 9 working days to find out if I would receive the payment after the full 14 working days and never got a response to that email. I then waited for the full 14 working days to follow this up with a call on 26.10.2022, which I was advised that the payment had not even been released which was baffling considering the previous communication they sent me. The agent then told me that they would escalate this to the administrator to release the eft and the payment be made. Today I have again called in to find out what was happening, I spoke to an agent by the name of Zama didn't get her last name. She told me that the payment was over due and she would make an urgent escalation and get back to me. This was just a little after 8 am and she has still not gotten back to me. I sent an email before calling in and never got a response and I have tried calling in again and the call was not answered. This is upsetting to me as I have a 10 month old infant whom has run out of nappies and formula as I was expecting this money to buy more of his stuff. My mother and siblings have nowhere to stay as my family home burnt down in July and we are in the process of rebuilding but without the necessary funds the rebuilding has been put on hold and my family is staying with the neighbors. I AM BEYOND UPSET WITH THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM ALEX FORBES!!!. IT WOULD SEEM THEY DO NOT CARE AND THEY JUST TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR JUST TO GET RID OF YOU ON THE CALL
