This is the second time having a nightmare experience with Tropicana hotel in Durban South Beach Branch. They always change terms on the last minute of service. I booked them for tomorrow's 16/03/2024 couples event, initially for about 50people. I communicated with Alicia to inform her that we can not make It to 50 because only 16 people have paid. This was two days ago and today I woke up to an email informing me that they have cancelled my booking because I have not paid deposit but they have my pop's and because from a package that I took the chef cannot cook for less than 30people which is not written anywhere from what they have sent to me. I have been using this hotel to host my event for several events with 120 max per event but the past two events was a disaster either they give you a conference room you did not choose or the chef cook whatever they want without communicating the menu with you and they will tell you it because you chose a chef choice package which is not stated anywhere....I am now waiting for a refund. They are very frustrating and Alicia always comes up with excuses not to meet the standard she promises when you first speak to her.
I'm registered at Edutel for advanced certificate in foundation phase. Last semester I failed... and did not qualify for exams. I re-registered the modules this semester wrote my assignments and passed. But all this information suddenly disappeared from the system when it time to write my exam they are telling me that I did not register for this semester and also they are using last semesters results to proof that I don't qualify for exams. This is so draining I was supposed to write math last week and English tomorrow. There are not helping me I even sent them screenshots of online assignment submissions but they are not helping, insisting I'm not registered. Funny because my busary paid for this semester's and I wrote all my assignments and passed. I am irate and frustrated.
