👎 Extremely Disappointed with SolarPower.co.za's Customer Service 👎 I recently purchased a new home with a solar system already installed by SolarPower.co.za, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the beginning, I reached out to the company seeking assistance and a better understanding of the system. Unfortunately, their customer service was abysmal. Three months after my electricity account was activated, I received a shocking bill of R10,000. I immediately raised this issue with the company, hoping for some resolution. However, their after-sales service was nonexistent, filled with unkept commitments and excuses. I even attempted to engage with the owner, but it became painfully clear that their interest only increased when discussing new panel sales, rather than addressing my pressing issue of a hefty bill. In desperation, I turned to my neighbors, who directed me to their own service provider. To my amazement, this other company promptly assisted me. I couldn't help but wonder why SolarPower.co.za, a company paid in full for their services, couldn't do the same, even though a warranty is still in existence. To add insult to injury, my neighbors' solar setup is a night-and-day comparison to mine. Their system is neatly installed with all cords concealed, exuding elegance. In contrast, my installation looks like a rushed job with mismatched components, exposed cords, and makeshift coverings. I would rate my neighbors' installation a 9 out of 10, while the one by SolarPower.co.za barely sc****s by with a 4 out of 10, and their after-sales service deserves a resounding zero. It's evident that SolarPower.co.za is more interested in chasing sales profits than in providing adequate after-sales service, demonstrating a complete lack of customer care and an overall poor standard of workmanship. I'm now in discussions with the service provider recommended by my neighbors, hoping for a much-needed improvement in my solar experience. #PoorCustomerService #SolarPowerNightmare 😡🔌🏠
