Be cautious when renting here. I rented a vehicle from the King Shaka (Durban) branch and was unfairly charged a valet fee for “excessive sand.” No effort was made to show what “excessive” meant, and the vehicle had no floor mats provided to clean it out. Despite disputing the charge and requesting their policy defining excessive dirt, no explanation or documentation was given. The charge was still processed without proper justification. This experience felt opportunistic and unfair to the customer.
**my message to supplier** Good day I had not planned on saying anything but I am rather disappointed in the level of customer care and workmanship levels of your company for the following reasons: *on first arrival on a sateday after 1.5 hours drive people where inside and refused to take the battery whilst saying during the week they stated "they are open on saterday and I can come through" forcing me to reattempt the delivery of the faulty battery for repaires the following Saturday *The estimated time lines where not met for repairs I had sent for the battery *once deadlines weren't there was no communication on the issue *battery was just recharged and sent back (not fixed) *the poles had been arced on and visible damadge is left on the battery (see photos below) I do not expect any action from your side as I would rather not have the headache of dealing with this further, I just unfortunately will be doing my best to avoid doing further business with "Proton Solar distributors" Thank you for the follow up.
