We bought a new VENUE 1.0 TGOI MOTION OCT, in March 2020, from Hyundai Silver Lakes. The vehicle currently has about 37000km on the clock. The Service record is up to date. Since about 15000km a rattling noise from the front of the engine has been noticed. The noise has been reported several times to Hyundai Vereeniging. They inspected the engine and found the timing chain lost tension causing a rattling noise from the engine The dealer replaced the Cambelt Chain and Tensioners, and V-Belt on 29060KM, on 01/09/2023. After receiving the car back, the rattling noise started again, after a while, and was again reported to Hyundai Vereeniging. The car went in again for the next service on 29/04/2024 The Workshop Manager reported the splatting noise is generated from the tensioner not holding pressure properly due to internal seal failure Replaced the timing chain and tensioner and they arranged a courtesy car. The noise is now becoming worse, and I phoned Hyundai Vereeniging and asked to speak to the principal on the 29th Of October 2024, and he never called back. A timing chain must last at least 30000km to 40000km and it does not make sense to replace the timing chain at such short intervals. This situation is becoming more, threatening because we never know when the engine will fail. I expect Hyundai South Africa to intervene and contact me to resolve this issue.
Ten days past, since I returned my vehicle. I go through this cumbersome process whenever I rent a car from Woodford. I am now at the point where I think I must rent my car through other rental companies because Woodford's administration is not up to standard. I have seen on Hello Peter that there are numerous complaints about people not receiving their refunds. I have never had problems with the cars, but the admin is another story. I have complained about the admin before, but nothing has changed. If you are not going to make radical changes, Woodford will lose many clients. I have also seen that you give a standard response on Hello Peter, without any follow-up. Remember the more complaints you get that are not resolved, the greater the chance will be that the public, will drop Woodford. Regards, Jacques
I have been using Woodford Car Hire for more than 2 years. The service when receiving a car is always good, and the cars are in good condition, however, there admin is pathetic. I returned my last booking car rental the 6th of June2024, and after numerous emails I still have not received my refund on my R5000 deposit. There were a chip on my windscreen, and after calculating my refund amounted to R4022 I received a notice that my refund was released for payment the 21st of June 2024, and up to date, has not received any refund. I have send numerous emails to Kayla from Woodford and she ensured me that it has been escalated to finance, and that I must just be patient. Every time it is just the same response. I am really up to here, and this is not the first time that I battle to get my money back. Really Woodford, why is your admin is so bad? "Dear JACQUES I trust you are well. Thank you for contacting me. Kindly find attached invoice reflecting your refund, this was escalated to finance. Your business means a lot to us, so if you ever have additional feedback, please don't hesitate to contact us."
Woodford does not refund money wrongfully billed to my account. I reported to you that you have billed me incorrectly for 8300km where I only drove about 1300km. Despite my emails and confirmation that you have corrected this and where I was supposed to give me a refund on my R4000 deposit, you billed me R49747 on my credit card. I have given you a very bad review on Hello Peter. I will rectify this after a personal apology from the MD and a refund of R49747, plus my refund on my R4000 deposit minus the petrol top up, This was a new car and only had about 1700km on when I returned the car.
I have been using Woodford car-hire for the last 13 months. I have always been happy with their service but lately in the last 4 months I constantly have issues with the billing on my invoices. I reported this to their customer care, where they billed me for tollgates where I haven’t even drived on my latest invoice they billed me R49747, for 8300km where I only drove about 1300km which falls within the 100km free, included on my contract. This was a new car which still had paper number registration plates and when I returned the car the odometer reading was about 1700 km. I expect an a and refund, from the MD of Woodford as well as a refund on the interest incurred on my credit card. You have a great company don’t let negligence on your account, ruin your reputation.
I have been using Ult*****t , Superwoof for all my dogs for the last 18 months, my dogs are in top condition, and the Accidental Insurance, if your dogs are on the Superwoof food are excellent. The accidental insurance is underwritten by Dotsure. They provide excellent insurance and I unfortunately had to register two separate, claims, which were signed by my VET. The money was paid in my account within 48 hours. There are very few dogfood manufacturers that provides excellent food where you get automatic accidental insurance, by just using their product. Thank you Ult*****t and Dotsure, this is excellent.
I have ordered dog food from SAYES, on the 2nd of May 2023. I registered various queries with SAYES, concerning my order, but they simply don't reply, I also phoned them, and they promised to get back to me, but no-one has called me, to provide status on when I can expect delivery. This is simply not acceptable.
I have been buying dog food from Ult****t, through their distributors for the last 12 months. Their dog foods are excellent , but I constantly battle to order food, because they are out of stock. This is unacceptable!
I would really recommend Woodford Car Rental, they provide friendly, affordable and very sufficient car rental.
Woodford Car Hire provides excellent service. I have been using them frequently for the last 8 months. They are always, very professional and friendly. Their cars, are excellent, clean, and new. They have often upgraded me to a higher-range vehicle, when the vehicle I booked, was not available. They are always following up, to confirm a new reservation. The deposit for the vehicle is very low compared to Avis, Europcar, and other rental companies. When returning the vehicle, they have a sufficient electronic inspection system, where you sign, and your original deposit is returned within 72 hours.
