IBTC Sandton - Terrible communication.
I have had a terrible experience with the IBTC Sandton branch. They have not responded to any of my emails regarding my results. I had the same experience with my N4 results. I only received my N4 results when I went and asked for them at the branch, I was not notified at any point that my certificate was even ready to be collected. I would not recommend IBTC to anyone. I have been studying through them for almost 18 months and I have had countless bad experiences with them.

IBTC improvements
After writing my previous review, IBTC was in contact with me regarding the challenges that I was facing and since then I have gotten great feedback and I am feeling more confident in IBTC. And will recommend them to anyone who is interested in doing qualifications in educare in their own time and pace.

IBTC Educare course
I paid R12 600 for 4 N4 educare courses through IBTC. Firstly they sent me the wrong textbooks thus delaying me by a week. Now that I have the correct textbooks, I have started with my assignments. For child health N4 assignment 1, there are questions that do not match any of the work provided in the textbook. The assessment schedule and breakdown that was provided states which modules are assessed in which assignments. These are useless, ie education N4 assignment 1 according to the assessment schedule provided, assesses you on topics learnt in module 1, meanwhile the questions asked in the assignment are from modules 1-3. The assignments have multiple spelling errors and do not correspond with the textbook information. The tutor service is ridiculous. I asked questions regarding my assignment and how the questions don't make sense and all that came from the tutor was answers to the questions that had no answers? IE. Question 1.15 was a description of an illness/health complication that had no word to describe the complication. I would not recommend IBTC to any students looking to study educare. I am extremely disatisfied with this course and IBTC. Waste of time and money.

The gentleman that I spoke to was very very helpful and patient and didn’t try and persuade me out of my decision. He did what I asked of him and that is why I will be coming back to first for woman.
