My wife and I ordered Roman's pizza. The order was five minutes away and the driver delivered our order to the wrong address . We complained and got refunded. However everything was Ai and we couldn't actually file a complaint against the driver and his poor service. We couldn't even re order because romans only accepted pick ups prior to this. Ruined and evening and terrible customer service
My wife and I got a voucher for Italian Kitchen and thought it would be a nice new place to try out. As we get in and sit down we ask if we can change to another table and we indicate where. The waiter who initially helped us in said she was leaving but that she would get the table cleaned up and ask another waiter to escort us there. We wait and nothing happens. The waiter who was supposed to take over and help us decided to wait for other people and seat them. We then ask another waiter he claims he is busy but will be there right now. 10 minutes later and he is not back. Eventually , after all of this , we finally get our drinks order taken by another waiter, Emma, who only came because that guy took so long. We ask if we can go to the table we have been waiting for and she tells us yes we can, they'll clean it now. As the other waiter (the one who was initially supposed to clean the table for us) starts to clean the table, my wife and I get up to move. He tells us no this isn't for you it's for other two guests who want to sit there . These two came after us. We sit and wait and that same couple gets their coffee before we even get water. Another table got served by this same waiter 4 times before we got served once and said table also arrived after us. The only time he decided to take our order was when we got up. The only difference between our table and the other two tables who came after us is that my wife and I are young POC and the other tables were old white couples. Out of the four groups in the main seating area. Two were groups of colour including myself. The two of us got checked on and served twice in the twenty minute wait. The other two tables, who both came after us, got seen to at least 7 times. I honestly never want to see Italian Kitchen again or that disgrace of a waiter. I'll just burn our gift voucher because no-one deserves to go there. Nothings changed I guess.
After the relocation I have been there twice and it was horrendous. I went last year for Bday breakfast and cheesy bagel I ordered had no cheese, the waiter forgot to put in my order and we waited an hour to even get our drinks, not to mention it was one of the worst Koesisters around. Last week I decided to give them another chance. Views were great and it wasn't too busy, My wife and I order tap water as we browsing the menu. I was shocked that they have the audacity to charge for tap water and extra if you want lemon and ice. To make things worse for these money grabbing owners, you have to pay R20 to use the bathrooms. So much for muslim ethics. Don't be fooled by the Bo-Kaap Gimmick. Go Elsewhere. Pathetic
