Veterinary practitioners makes or break a practice
I am a Valley Farm Animal Hospital supporter for quite some time. I never had a bad experience with them before. This was the first time that I am really disappointed. I think that a veterinary practitioner makes or breaks a practice. Unfortunately at Valley farm when you walk in with an emergency you can not choose the vet and need to go with the one that is currently on shift. My Chocolate Labrador was discharged by her practitioner after just one night on a drip with extreme nausea, diarrhea including acute hemorrhagic diarrhea - that she developed the same day at the practice when she was discharged. Which to me was unacceptable. I took her to another practice immediately after getting home and my dog was still very ill. The practice immediately admitted her and diagnosed her with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis which is a serious medical emergency and one of the most serious causes of diarrhea in dogs.
