Paid over R5500 for one nights stay over without any conclusive diagnosis and no improvement. In desperation decided to move to another vet and they managed to diagnose the issue within 15 (yes, fifteen) minutes doing some simple diagnostic tests which Valley Farm neglected to do. *********** and ******* artists to boot. For example, charged R375 rand for each updating call that could not have lasted 2 minutes each. Will provide all the case particulars to the Veterinary Council - let’s see what constitutes ethical behaviour and/or incompetence.

I just want to thank Valley farm for everything they did for my baby girl. Trying to save her after an mis diagnosis by a previous vet. Thank you for taking such good care of her in her last few days alive. Thank you for always keeping us updated sending pictures and calling back when we leave a message 🙏🏻 I will ever be thankful that you tried to save my babies life 🙌🏻 Unfortunately she didn’t make it, we miss her every second. My little angel got her wings this afternoon 😞❤️🩹 I will forever be great full that you guys did your best with her.

I had to put my dog, Juju, down on 26 December 2025 at Valley Farm. I chose the cremation option, but as of 6 January 2026 we still haven’t received the ashes. My wife and kids are worried that we may not get the correct remains. Waiting three weeks feels like very poor service.

You walk in, and immediately think it's a human hospital. As a 'walkin-in' and them being beyond busy, I understood. Mine wasn't an emergency, yet. After waiting a bit Dr Chan Isvarlal had a look at my Luca. Earlier in the week I had a Kennel-cough inoculation done at ******-24-vet. Unbeknownst to me the vaccine (Nobivac KC) was intranasal and NOT intracut i.e. injected. Luca then spent 3 days in pain just to have gotten a granuloma/ abscess. I was freaking. Dr Isvarlal stayed calm explained everything to me and even went to fetch the "how-to" booklet of the Nobivac KC. Reading and seeing this just made me more angry, although I think that was more to help me understand what happened, how and whey - I'm not dumb when it come to medicine so wanted a proper explanation. She pre-scribed meds, gave Luc the utmost care and attention (to detail). She heard my concerns about certain medications and we both decided on the best step. My story here - I was not received by a Veterinarian that just smiled and played with my pup. I was received by a Doctor. Proper bedside manner and got to the task at hand. Throughout my ranting she stayed calm, listened but most importantly gave Luca undivided attention. She made a diagnosis, not immediatelty based already on the wrong treatment method, but 3 checked her work. Sometimes you need a smiley Vet for a quick shot (the correct kind) and sometimes you need a Doctor. I thank and applaud Dr Chan Isvarlal for her professionalism, calm demeanour but still kind heartedness with the patient. I'll recommend Valley Farm Animal Hospital any day. P.S For some of the other peeps out there. Get medical insurance for your companions. It will save you a lot of heartache and stress. Just like you need Medicaid, so do they. And it's really not expensive, there are some great plans out there.

Absolutely zero people skills. Zero empathy. Zero compassion. Zero attention to detail. Zero remorse. Zero professionalism. Zero respect. Zero pride. This place is just any pet's worse nightmare !! And the weird thing about them, when granting them an opportunity to answer questions about their wrong doings, they just simply ignore you... Pootpraktyk, um, what a **** reality of what they are actually doing and what they are about, etc. This is definitely not the true reflection of who they are. But justice will always prevail. Remember this Valley Farm Animal Hospital !! Remember this...
